Articulated Hummingbird with Flower Stand
Is it a butterfly? Is it a bee? Nooo! It's a hummingbird! The smallest bird in existence, capable of flapping its wings more than 40 times per second — a miniature high-performance machine!
The figure is printed as a single piece, with a small built-in support in the head. When opening the wings for the first time, be careful and do it gently, section by section, as they have a limited range of motion. If too much force is applied, the small stops may break. See video.
Very easy to print!!
Use PLA. 100% flow. By adjusting the flow rate ±5%, you can make the wings and legs looser (by decreasing it) or stiffer (by increasing it).
I used double-sided tape to attach the flower to the wall.
It includes two support versions, and the second version features two types of flowers.
