July is a Month (Patreon)
Content
Last month I cleaned up the tags on all the old posts: meaning everything should be organized now so that redundant tags and ones that didn't really apply are no longer there. Should make finding older content easier.
The combination of severe burnout followed by some pretty disheartening feedback May and June has got me thinking about changing how I interact with patreon. A lot more just picking a project to work on and posting content than trying to adjust the sails. I will probably feel even more lacking in personality this month while I feel out some things.
I don't have a lot of other stuff to talk about this update? This month is going to start with a comic. Then Too Many Cooks and the last planned cow-print for year of the Ox. Ideally I would like to get back to the point of posting pages every month for comic projects with patron illustrations.
I still don't have any great ideas for continuing the village secret so going to work on getting other comics and illustrations out until I get an idea for that I like.
As for the patron polls. I don't know what I am going to do about them in future. I need a new plan: every attempt to make them work for as many of the patrons as possible has led to a lot of pushback and extra stress; so for now I am just letting people submit whatever they want as long as it doesn't break any content rules- this isn't anyone's fault its just an issue of being unable to find a way to work with so many different expectations. If I can figure out a better way of handling it in the future I will but for now this will have to do.
