Tourney update, and some dark clouds on the horizon! (Patreon)

Let's start with the tournament update: I fell a bit behind this week. I'm sure I've mentioned before that not only have I been traveling last week, but this week there was a pretty big heatwave, and I don't have Air Conditioning where I'm at. That made it really hard to work on pages while the inside temperature was in the mid 80s/27c. I thought I would have the latest poll up this weekend, but maybe Monday instead. As I draw the comic, I integrate poll info, and I haven't got to the latest data yet. Those who were watching the last poll see it's pretty obvious that Selina got the worst of it and will suffer a damage disadvantage in upcoming poll.
In other news, some of you may already know, that in recent Weeks and Months, pretty well known artists (and countless small artists) have been kicked off of a variety of platforms. Gumroad, Lulu, Pixiv, Patreon and Deviant Art have all done it. Pretty well known names like EM Farrow, Excalib, and our good friend Pandora Catfight. It seems Adult Content is being targeted.
I've been talking to a couple of artist, and there is a scramble to find a home for their work and get back to generating an income. Excalib is suspended from Pixiv, but his store is still open, but for how long? EM Farrow moved his comics here to Deviant Art in the newish marketplace.
It seems that it's not the platforms dismissing the artist specifically, but there is some issue where banks, specifically Mastercard and Visa, are putting pressure on these outlets, and it's easier to dismiss the threat than it is to police their work. I will give Patreon big Kudos though, they have been Johnny-on-the-spot with complying and I've filled out forms proving I'm over 18, and all my characters in my work are over 18, and more. However I have a feeling other publishers are not taking those steps.
How this affects me? I've made it no secret that I need all the help I can get as I depend on this income! I write it in every post you guys see, whether it's subscriptions (which at the moment is the safest revenue) or sales at Gumroad. You see, I could wake up one day to see that Gumroad has dropped me and then I'll have a hard decision to make: Could I continue this endeavor, or would I have to make cuts, and could I make ends meet?
Now you all know what's going through my mind right now. Continued support and growth is one of the only ways I might be able to weather serious changes. If you're not a subscriber and you're reading this, please consider it. We both benefit from it. Thanks Everyone!
