And just like always, before you dig in, some important information. Since the development of R6.5 was 1) the biggest change to the game yet and 2) the most problematic one, it is twice as important!

1) Release 6.5 IS NOT compatible with previous versions. 

The entire game was reworked from the ground up. As such, regrettably, there is no way to make the old saves compatible. My apologies!

I also very much recommend making a clean install (that is, removing all the old saves and persistent data; more about this at the bottom of this text).

If you don't want to, I will be uploading a full save with the hotfix in the upcoming days!

2) There are currently 2 known issues:

There are two missing images in the Markala's route.

There are currently no sounds during the Markala's mission.

Credits are missing from the main menu

I will be fixing these in the upcoming days!

However, while I did not find any game-breaking bugs during my testing, I fully expect that there will be a wealth of minor bugs throughout the game. If you would be so kind to report these (you can send me a message or write it down in the comments), I would appreciate it!

This applies to any visual wonkiness you might find with the new UI.

3) To find the new content:

For both Markala's and Cyn's scenes, go to the Spaceport and play the Side Jobs storyline. Take note that to start the latest installment, you need to finish both Ginny's Derelict mission and have Anal Skill above 10!

With all that out of the way, please enjoy Release 6.5! I'm deeply sorry for the delay (as usual, in case anyone wishes, let me know, and I will issue you a refund!), but I'm VERY proud of all the new improvements to the game, and I think you will like it, too!

How to remove your old saves & persistent data (performing clean installation):

If you have issues with the Gallery and other unlockables (skills, perks/achievements, Codex entries, etc.), or if it is not working at all, please try deleting your persistent data first. These are located in the game's folder, specifically StarPeriphery-ReleaseXX-pc\game\saves, and in the Windows appdata. To delete these:

Press the Windows button + r

Insert "%appdata%"

Go to the RenPy folder

Go to the Star Periphery folder

Delete all files there

You need to delete data from both of these folders.
