Release 4: Out now for Governors & Overseers! (Patreon)
Content
Hello, my friends of the finest patrician ilk! Are you ready?
Here are the links for Release 4!
And just like always, before you dig in, some important information!
1) I strongly recommend making a clean installation & refrain from using old saves. The much-awaited Gallery has been implemented. This is a full replay gallery (not just pictures) that is inherently dependent on persistent data. Using old saves should not break the game, but it will quite possibly break the Gallery. More about the Gallery below.
2) The Mines Day 3 is missing. I have decided to pull the latest Mines content from this specific release. I will be uploading it as a part of a "half-release" in the upcoming weeks, along with potential fixes for R4. The reason is that I have found it below the game's standards and decided to rework it. My apologies!
3) There are currently known (minor) bugs:
On Iris Day 2, Iris might act as if you picked her as your main interest. This is only a minor text consistency issue, but it will be fixed with the upcoming release.
Ginny's second blowjob will not unlock unless you select the "spit" option. This will be fixed with the upcoming release.
4) To find the new content:
For Amira & Iris Day 2:
You can find both on Despina, as usual.
For the Gloryhole:
Talk to Ginny in the Bar, ask about your debts, and then select "Yes, let's talk" (Oral skill 4+ required).
For Market:
Available from the main map.
For the Neighbor lady:
Buy binoculars from the Salvage store. The next time you go to sleep, you will be given the choice to spy on her.
5) About the Gallery:
The Gallery is dependent on persistent data, which means (among a great many other things) that once you unlock a scene, it will stay unlocked independently on your saves. Due to the nature of these persistent data, there are some minor quirks you should know about.
The scenes replayed through the Gallery will use only the default name.
The scenes replayed through the Gallery will only use skills I have added manually to the replay, not the skills you had when you unlocked the scene.
If you have issues with the Gallery, or if it is not working at all, please try deleting your persistent data first. These are located in the game's folder, specifically StarPeriphery-Release4-pc\game\saves and in the Window's appdata. To delete these:
Press the Windows button + r
Insert "%appdata%"
Go to the RenPy folder
Go to the Star Periphery folder
Delete all files there
You need to delete data from both of these folders.
Release 4 should be free of any game-breaking bugs, but in case you find anything, please let me know! I would also appreciate any other feedback from you!
Thank you so much, and enjoy Release 4!
