So, on July 6th, I'll be in Malaysia for three weeks with my parents for Summer vacation. This means the suggestion pools meant for this month will instead open for August. I'll still try to draw, but given how much I'll be dragged around Penang for food and stuff, it would be minimal, which is good? I don't like Not Drawing for a long time because it makes me feel more of an lazy artist to you guys.

What then?

Since I'm holding off grad school applications until Spring, I guess what's left for me to do are several things:

More work for this Patreon

Set up YCH animation bases for August's commissions

Try to plan longer animations? This means I'll set up a poll with rough drawings of an animation rather than just writing a prompt.

Work on my projects (the Covenstead comic, and another). Covenstead's chapter 1 is halfway complete, and then I'll need to start the sketches for Chapter 2.

Try to volunteer at my local Public Library to gain experience to better help my applications

Finally try to set up my screen tablet so I can draw on my laptop rather than my Ipad.

Find a job, or hope my Patreon gets enough money that I wouldn't have to worry too much about it... because I don't want to feel more dead to keep this Patreon running.

It's already halfway through the year and my New Years resolution of raising my monthly goal with my art has not improved, so I'm stuck thinking about what I'm doing wrong. Let me know what you guys think

Hope you guys have a good summer!

You don’t have to push yourself too hard to do art, just make sure you have fun and enjoy your vacation!
