The Intouchables (the movie you were talking about w Bryan Cranston and Kevin Hart) was a blockbuster French movie in the mid 2000s (I’ve seen it, it was very good) and someone (Spielberg?) bought the rights to making an American version and for some reason decided to cast those two actors in what is mostly a pretty serious movie and falls pretty flat in America

Fun fact about Hubie Halloween, one of my childhood favorite, and criminally niche, psychobilly bands Nekromantix has a song “Trick or treat” that they used for a transition onto an establishing shot of a street. That is the only scene of that shitty movie I’ve even seen 😂
