Being able to hear the tv audio on your guys end really helps to sync up the video. I find it easiest to hit play a sec before them and then quickly pause and hit play until synced.

it would be really hard to get perfect timing if it wasn't there, and if your video starts buffering you would have to go all the way back to the beginning to resync
