Yeah, I guess we forgot that she is a robot and artificial lifeform. Despite being based on a human, she doesn't actually think the same way as us or have the same priorities. She just doesn't have the overpowering instinctive fear of death and desire to cling to life that we do. In comparison, fulfilling her directives is much more important.
