Hey guys, I just want to ask you all a quick question concerning how I handle my content here.

Most of you may know about The Loft, a place on my website where I host all my premium content away from Patreon and Subscribestar. I do this to combat the automatic scrapers that serve to lift content on both Patreon and Discord and upload them to pirate sites, and ensure that whatever I make premium stays premium and that you all continue to get what you're supporting me for.

Some people have voiced their concerns with the method, and I want to ask:

Do you guys genuinely have trouble finding my content?

You can reply to this poll to elaborate more or suggest other methods I can use, but if people aren't having issues then I'll just keep things as they are. Thanks for your time!

It's not HARD to find the content, it's just that at times the stuff like the Patreon/subscribe star linking features bug out and don't work as they should. Like how it happened with me a couple days ago. Aside that your content is neatly categorized and easy to access once the roles are properly given out. Not blaming you for the bugs, that's just discord being discord.

I think the biggest issue personally is how it’s so spread out. For example you can’t access ALL of sequence zero from the page on the loft

Yep, I think if the full comic was in one place it would be easier

Ah, I see. I tried to host everything on my website because it'd be a lot easier just having everything in one place, you know?

2026-09-05 07:00 I had to subscribe to both subscribestar and your patreon and go through the discord just to see one comic because of the way it's set up. I don't know if this is intentional or not, but it's kind of ass.

That is definitely NOT intentional...you should only have to subscribe to one or the other. I think there are some bugs with the bots I have to hammer out or something of that nature, because you don't have to subscribe to both just to see a few pages.

I just don't know what's premium and what isn't from the discord. I keep seeing notifications that look cool and then I'm like, "Neat! Wonder if they're gonna upload that anywhere or if I have to pay for it? Guess I'll never know..." I'm just in no position to support everyone I wanna rn...

My plan was to funnel everyone to the Discord Server and host all the stuff I want to keep safe there and make the passwords available there, and have the actual content be on The Loft on my website, but I can see where people can get lost trying to access stuff.

For Tru, for tru... I think whatever you end up settling on, if you just keep it consistent and put up a tutorial somewhere, most issues like that will clear up. Whatever I can do to support that doesn't involve money, I'm all for! I know exposure doesn't pay the rent and all, but it's all I got right now. :V

Plus, with like the Jenny and roboboy stuff, I dunno which comes first, so maybe incorporating that into the titles might be helpful? I'm better with numbers like chapter 1: issue 2: page 35 and shit like that. 😅

The word isn't hard, it is effort. It takes more effort than most are happy to do. Most people just expect to see the images in patreon or discord. I personally don't feel comfortable to link my patreon to the loft so I depend on the discord uploads to see. And it's buried away in "folders" there. I'm not a fan of how it's organized personally. But I am thinking of it as "path of least resistance" because peeps be lazy (sorry to others, but it true)

Fair enough, actually! I realized that I hadn't put page numbers on the pages themselves, and that is definitely cause for confusion.

Yeah, ease of access has been something of a roadblock in my attempts to stop scrapers, sometimes I come up with overly elaborate plans that may make sense to me, but not much to others, and considering the poll, I can feel assured that this is the case-

That most likely may be because the Discord bot isn't giving you the appropriate roles, I can help you with that if you DM me in Discord so I know what your tag is!

I don’t think it’s bad or hard but maybe just a little clunky. I know it took me a good min to figure out where everything was but once I got it, it was way easier. Maybe just make a Patreon post explaining how it works for new people.

That's what I'll have to do, but making it just a huge wall of text probably won't cut it, so I'll have to look into making a video instead. It'll give me a reason to learn Premire Pro and After Effects, which have just been sitting on my computer for the longest time-

Yea I think a quick video could really help. Though I also imagine some people just don’t go on discord and thus don’t know how to get the good stuff. But yea a video should help
