Patreon Member Shout-Out in Videos (Patreon)

Update 05/30!

I've decided to change how I edit. I'll still edit in advance but I won't render until two weeks before it drops on YouTube. That way instead of a 2-3 month wait to see your name in the shout-out, it should be a 1-2 week delay at most. That means starting in the middle of August, anyone who joins will not have a huge waiting period like before.

I am sorry to all of you who joined before and had to wait, but I appreciate your understanding and patience with me as I learn to navigate being a youtuber <3

Old Post

Hello everyone, thank you so much for supporting me on Patreon. It really means a lot to me and I am so excited that you're all joining me in this journey!

I wanted to say one thing about the Patreon Member Shout-Out in Videos benefit. I edit my videos in advance, so you will not see your name appear in the shout-out page until about 2-3 months after you become a Patreon.

I simply don't have the time to re-edit & render 2-3 months worth of videos to update the shout-out page, and then re-upload to YouTube. I'm sorry! If this ever becomes a full-time gig for me or if I ever get an editor, that might change. But until then, I am doing everything myself and I'll be honest, I did not consider that this might be an issue when I added in that benefit. I'm truly sorry for the delay in adding your names to the shout-out page.

But, your name is added to the shout-out page the moment you become a Patreon and it will stay there forever, even if you don't keep your membership after the first month. You will see your name, it will just take some time. I hope you can understand.

Also, if you ever want your name removed from the shout-out page, all you have to do is comment below asking me to remove your name.

Thanks <3
