I'm so annoyed by Boy Story's evaluation. It was a walking contradiction. They weren't judged on their talent, but on something else that shouldn't matter, or never hindered their performance in their career. I really believe Hanyu lost confidence during the practice, and when you watch his hola, solar fancam it's clear that he did well. I feel so bad for the C contestants, you can't tell me that 36 of them deserved to get eliminated and that they should only have six all-stars.

Kim Jaejoong was being such a physiognomist towards the C-trainees. I get that they are looking for people that look like idols, but not everyone puts that much time into looking like "The perfect guy", also telling someone they are old to be an idol at 30 while himself being an idol at 38-39 is wild (also I'm sure he missed a beat in one of his performances, so he shouldn't have hated on Hong Hai like that)

Emotional rollercoaster time.. Oh boy, I have a lot to say about this episode and for the whole show in general. The initial plan was to debut 2 groups, one for Planet K and Planet C. So merging them was a huge slap on the face for Planet C trainees. Seeing so many of them get cut compared to the amount of trainees who got cut on Planet K is hard to watch. The outrage after this episode was also pretty huge. The bodyshaming comment got some backlash and Jaejoong apologised for it online. So there's that.. Also, based off the next episode preview, they seem to be targeting more Planet C trainee with editing which is fuelling more sinophobia accusations. Planet C trainees joined the show not knowing it will merge, meaning they were not expecting to have to know Korean but Mnet seems to already have made an edit focusing on that based off preview... A lot of people are rage voting a lot of C trainees after this episode though.. (Not sure how long people will continue to do so.. but I guess its a good thing for now). I genuinely hope the Planet C trainees have a mental support group.. Because a lot of eliminated Planet C trainees have gone live to talk about their experiences and they were... rough.. Plus, the remaining Planet C trainees are going to have a rough time merging with Planet K trainees (since they are outnumbered as well). I think their current mental state after losing that many of their trainee friends is going to make them fairly fragile which makes them easy target for Mnet to give them some negative edits..

So, at the moment, only Mingrui is active as a Boy Story member, the others are: Hanyu, Xinlong, Zihao (Boys II Planet, Hanyu returning now) Zeyu (Dating alligations) Shuyang (Taking entrance exam to focus on his studies)

Actually, Stray Kids and Boy Story are really close since they trained together. 3RACHA had a call with them a while back to speak with them again after some time and were complementing the guys. Felix and Xinlong are also really good friends. My guess is that chinese groups won't do well enough in korea (except for WayV) because of the relationship between korea and china (like we see here as well), my guess would be that they have to gain traction by connecting with the korean audience more or interact with Stray Kids or Kickflip to get noticed. Like people would say "Who is Boy Story" when we talk about them because people don't know they are under JYP (probably because they have been since 2018 but only debuted in korea a year ago). I have seen you in Form Of Therapy's patreon and I think you have also not seen him react to anything of theirs, just because they don't know they exist, and there are many people out there like him that don't know.

My thing is also, visual wise, unlike the fact that I despise Jaejoong for saying they look old and done, the thing indeed is that visuals play a big role in a K-pop group, Hanyu is indeed on the heavier side (i'm way more overweight than him so i don't want to fatshame him, he is still healthy weight), Zihao doesn't have the best facial card, Xinlong is lucky with his deep voice and nice facial features. the other guys are in between Xinlong and the others in terms of visuals I think. But the fact is that JYP took that risk when debuting 12-9 year olds, he didn't know how they would grow up to be. So these are the members he chose back then, maybe now in terms of visuals he would have chosen others, but in terms of skills they are the best (in china) he has.

The location is actually Gyeonggi English Village, they give english courses here in an english created environment (but it is kind of a failed project and that's why they shoot here), the other building where Boys Planet was shot is Daewoong Management Development Institute.

Wanna know something fun? A lot of trainees forgot their lines during the evaluation, but none of the judges (except Xiaoting) understood what they were singing since they don''t speak Chinese. Xiaoting kept the secret between her and the trainees and also complemented them on their rather "creative" lyrics. She is the best.😂😂

I think Lin Quinan is a d*ck for leaving his nephew in the show while he was the one that wanted to join the first Boys Planet, Shunyu was talked into joining by Quinan. Just because something is hard doesn't mean you have to quit (I think those 2 were salty about being 1 star, and maybe being treated badly by the Korean staff). At least the others are taking good care of him and the last member of that team he was in (Dong Jingkun, All Star member) is still on the show so he has someone to rely on. But Lin Quinan should stick to being a Jackie Chan wannabe (Also bragging about having 6 million followers in the second episode, to running back to has safe space)

Honestly, Nian Boheng Sounds so deep that it sounds fake, like his voice actually sounded pitched down when he was saying "Solar". His voice might be deeper than Felix'

A lot of people are mad about what Jaejong said to Boy Story, but in his message it was stated that he wasn’t even the one to bring up his weight, Han Yu was. Mnet just cut it out to make him look “strict”. It’s funny how people will defend evil editing from trainees, but not from the mentors as well. Kany even stated they did it to her as well in the first episode. People need to stop being so emotional and use their common sense 🙄

Then why would mentors agree with something like that being aired while it could harm their career? MNET would be risking getting sued for harming their images. So I don't get why the masters run with it?

There are only 6 All Stars of which one is Hong Zhihan, which made me question "Who is this guy, I haven't seen his name nor him once" (did some research, he is the second rapper)
