yayyyy ep 3 time !!!! i’ve been so excited for this one :) i don’t think there is an actual audience at all tbh i’m Pretty sure they just added the sound in😭 i don’t have much to say about ploi joy it’s just a solid performance and i enjoy it a lot!!! when i watched ep1 for the first time i wasn’t sure if nut would be able to keep up with the other alphas bc william and fluke are just so exceptional at singing and lego at dancing . but i think nut did really well here !!! he’s obviously a very attractive guy but i wish the judges spent more time talking about his actual skills ! bc he’s a great dancer and also really good at singing for someone who only sang for the first time a couple months ago and i feel like it kinda diminishes his effort by spending most of their time praising his looks rather than his great performance. i’d say my fav from this performance was probably lego or fluke but it’s close. i also think it’s kinda funny how they spent so long in ep2 talking about william standing on the other members and then here they just had lego do the standing instead and didn’t mention that in the episode at all😭 i’d say i like koen tan about equally to how much i like ploi joy? its a super fun performance there’s just some obvious gaps technique wise between members as opposed to in ploi joy. i think karn did INCREDIBLE here. my second fav was bigger so i never really got why he wasn’t one of the ones the judges praised??? i think my main criticism is that the choruses came off as a little sloppy? i’m not sure how much of that has to do with the arrangement of the song and how much of it’s bc of the members themselves but i think that’s what stops me from putting it higher than ploi joy. i also think there were some spots where kade and kenji got out of breath. i think it’s a little hard to judge on if their criticisms of kade were accurate (bc if the camera isn’t focusing on him, how are the viewers supposed to know if he did better when the cameras weren’t focusing on him😭) but i do think he seemed a little awkward when he was being focused on so im inclined to believe the judges. but overall it’s a super cute performance and i love it a lot :) there are quite a few performances in this show that i cried at when i watched for the first time so im very excited to see if you’re gonna do the same when you get to them😭 anyways though i love money honey !!! it’s not my number one favorite performance but i do like it more than ploi joy and koen tan. and that harmony at 31:14 is my favorite part in any project alpha performance ever its SO good. my only real criticism with it is the autotune on the rap parts — im fine with stylistic autotune in lots of songs i just don’t think it fit in this remix of this specific song. and that’s not even the members’ faults😭 i don’t think i really saw that same intensity in ashi as the judges did . he did Great i just think other members stood out more. overall i’d choose just being friendly over money honey (for reasons i’ll get to later) but if it means that time, my number one favorite survival show contestant Ever, gets best beta then i’m not really complaining🙏 i 1000000% agree with you on sulupaka tapahae. i think the feeling just isn’t really there. i think phat is very sweet but he just has some kind of performance anxiety or something bc he looks kinda nervous on stage (he did in his ep1 performance too) and i feel like the way he interpreted the song was just different from how the rest of them did so he felt a little out of place. newearth’s mic was also just crazy quiet for some reason😭 and there were a couple parts where their dance wasn’t super synched. i don’t think it’s entirely their fault ,, i think giving the least hard hitting, chillest song to the group with less members wasn’t the smartest idea. and i think eark did quite good i really enjoyed him in this performance!!!! but overall it’s definitely the weakest this ep. i LOVE just being friendly. like,,, it’s in my top 5 favorite performances in all of project alpha. it’s SO good. on my first watch though i definitely thought money honey deserved to win but as i’ve rewatched ive shifted towards thinking just being friendly would be who i’d pick. i think both performances were flawless but the entire just being friendly team felt more comfortable on stage, had better team chemistry, and were into the song just a bit more than money honey in my eyes (also i just like the song way more😭). i think they all did amazing here and im glad you specifically called kop out in this performance bc i think he did so well here!!! but my number one fav here was def deaw. he sounds incredible and i had not been paying much attention to him at the start but i immediately had my eye on him as soon as i saw this. won’t say too much more bc i could talk about this performance for hours if i let myself but i just. really love it. easily the best to me🙏 when i first watched this i was really surprised by the elimination votes tbh? when it comes to korean survival shows i feel like im decent at predicting who the audience will vote for but this was my first thai show and i wasn’t expecting those four to get chosen at all (and i mean absolutely no disrespect to them!!! i love all four of them so much!!!) my guesses for who would make it through were karn, kade, boss, and bigger, so you were more accurate than me😭😭😭 i also wish there was some system in place where the judges could like,,,, vote for One person they thought did the best out of everyone who was up for elimination . and then that person would automatically be safe. or at the very least i wish they did the elimination at the beginning of the next episode like most survival shows do. bc i just think it kinda sucks that the votes were cast without knowing how well the contestants did here. it really sucks so bad for karn,, he got SO many positive comments this episode from the judges but then got eliminated bc the fans had only seen his first show that got mixed feedback. it’s not like im unhappy with the people who did make it through i just wish the votes got the full story. i think they could do the eliminations right after the challenge alpha performances next ep and it would work well. as always, thanks for the reaction! can’t wait for next episode :)

Even with knowing the results, I still teared up watching all of them tearing up watching their friends leaving. I am not really as familiar with survival shows from other countries, but love that about Thai shows. They are truly happy for their friends that win (stay in the show or get 'best of'), and truly sad for their friends that leave. Love the reaction. Can't wait for ep 4. 😊

The first time I watched this episode I remember thinking that they must have put the people they wanted the least to make it to the final lineup, in the same groups. So their favorites would have a bigger chance of winning 👀. I don’t think these shows are complete organic. I also feel like they give more screen time to the ones they want to make it. Someone recently said that they were told to say one of the members were their favorite by staff. Someone who shows up later on. They probably already know who they would like to make it to the end, with room for things to change. That was probably really pessimistic 👀🙈. I do like the show, hehe. I like the fact that the judges aren’t trying to be mean just to be mean, like you see in a lot of these survival shows. There were times that I didn’t agree with what they were saying during the show and started thinking that they were trying to sway people into picking certain people or to not pick others. But that could be me overthinking too 😂🙈. Love your reactions and it’s fun to watch someone who doesn’t know the outcome. When I first watched it I was too focused on the members I knew made it and didn’t pay as much attention to the rest. That’s part of the reason why I wanted to watch it again, to watch it properly. It’s also fun to see the members again and how they were in the beginning 😊.
