I found this review/interpretation online and I definitely agree with it ! The "ACAI" music video by CORTIS is basically a hilarious, chaotic fever dream that watches like a series of interconnected internet memes. At its core is the "Açaí Cartel"—a running joke where the members act like a gritty, high-stakes smuggling ring, except they're trafficking healthy fruit bowls instead of actual contraband. With completely deadpan faces, they jump through a multiverse of totally random realities that parody classic movie tropes. In one universe, they’re survivalists trudging through a barren desert with a live donkey; in the next, they’re high-fashion kingpins hoarding fruit in a luxurious vintage mansion. They even stage a chaotic breakout in a sterile hospital ward and casually play golf in a reality overrun by poorly-scaled, giant CGI snails and roosters. The açaí bowl acts as the ultimate anchor tying these bizarre worlds together, perfectly capturing the group's free-spirited vibe and proof that they don't take themselves too seriously. Makes sense...not sure I pick up on what movie references they're supposed to be though lol...I was right to catch up on them as drug dealers though LOL (Acai dealers lol)
