yay ep 5!!! this is probably in my top three episodes performance wise :) i’ve Super overplayed bad boy so i don’t enjoy it as much as i used to just bc i swear ive watched it like. 50+ times. but it is SUCH a good performance. like i genuinely don’t have a criticism for anyone here. aside from fluke who i liked in melt, this is my favorite performance for all of the alphas up until this point. and yeah it does kinda bother me a little bit that a lot of the performances aren’t fully live. if you watch their behind the scenes content you can sometimes hear them practicing singing completely live while dancing and it always sounds good so idk why the producers made the decision to not have that be a major thing bc it would 100% make the performances even more impressive. i def get your shock for otto being super tall bc i had the exact same reaction😭 anyways i LOVE ton it’s one of my favorite performances. i agree with the judges that the sarcastic vibe wasn’t present for the entire time (although i definitely saw it in the verses. and i think the judges were definitely overexaggerating their critiques) but the rest of the performance is so good that i kinda don’t care😭 this is genuinely the only performance in the entire show where i think i could make a case for every single one of them being the best in this stage bc i think they all fit their parts and roles so well that it’d be unfair to say Any of them weren’t the best. fan mai nha koon is the performance that pushed deaw to be my number two favorite contestant. he didn’t stick out to me super hard in ep1, and then in ep3 with just being friendly he was great and i decided to start paying more attention to him, but the second he started performing here he like. instantly skyrocketed to the top of my list. he is just SO good and even though i do agree that s3 was the best overall team, i think deaw was the best individual beta this episode and i would’ve loved to see him get best beta. aside from that i really loved music here and i thought aungpao was pretty good too. phat just always seems so nervous when he’s being judged unfortunately (he seemed much more comfortable in the special episode!!!) i wouldn’t personally rate it higher than the last performance but i do definitely think they had more of a “swag” attitude so i get why the judges liked it more i agree with your comments on lok!!! the song is just so repetitive for me. there’s like,, one verse and the rest is just the chorus over and over again. i agree that korn’s energy was a little off but prom, tui, and ashi’s charisma was INSANE. in ep3, when they were considering giving ashi best beta for his stage presence, i didn’t really get it, but i 1000000% get it here. i think it’s a little silly how at the beginning of the episode they said that anything can be swag as long as you put the right attitude and charisma into it, which i think they did here, but then stamp said it wasn’t swag😭 like im not one who uses the word swag a lot but if they’re describing swag as having charisma i would say they have it here. i also wish prom got praised more i think he did even better than tui here (and i LOVE tui in this performance). i don’t think this performance deserved to be one of the winning teams or anything but i wish they got a little more credit. i really don’t have much to say about suea sin lai it’s just. Good. i think it’s really impressive how much they were into the song and how much fun they were having. i think i would choose nicky to be best beta but i get why they chose hong. prom’s elimination hurts SO bad😭 when you said in the special episode “i think he’ll make it far… i hope i don’t jinx it” i wanted to cry lmfao he is so so so talented and i genuinely don’t get how he wasn’t more popular. he’s been one of my favorites since the beginning and i think that out of everyone eliminated this episode AND last episode, he had the highest chance of being best beta if they all had stayed longer. and i actually really love his voice even if it’s not perfect on a technical level . kop’s elim also makes me really sad bc he’s on a team with the top three most popular contestants in the whole show so i’m sure he probably just knew the second his team lost that he’d be eliminated for sure :( anyways like i said last episode, this is where i finalized my favorite contestants which has stayed the same regardless of eliminations/who makes the final group so it doesn’t spoil any placements or anything ! my top five is time, deaw, fluke, nicky, and music in that order, and then prom champ nut and keen kinda flip flop between 6th through 9th :) loved the reaction as always and can’t wait for ep6 !!!!

Bad Boy is one of my favorite songs from PA, I ended up downloading the audio and putting it in local files on Spotify. I did that with one other song too, but that one hasn’t aired yet. It was also fun to see Sea and Ohm as guests, two of the contestants sang the ost for their shows. I was obsessed with one of the songs and played it over 200 times last year 🙈. I got curious about what Prom did after the show. He apparently joined a tpop group for a while and it looks like he just signed with gmmtv, so I guess he will be acting soon. He was also a trainee for another tpop group. I was going to mention something else too, but that might be a spoiler 🤔. About some of the other contestants. All of the members of the final group does acting and not just the one show I mentioned in the comments on the special episode. They have been in shows or they’re going to be in some soon. They do both, acting and the group. One of them is more active than the others so far, since he has a fixed acting partner. They have tv shows, a fancon, events and a fanfest they did with other pairings under Gmmtv this weekend. They have a song together too. Some of them are still in school, they are busy busy boys.
