Went to see Paranormal Activity on stage last night!!

It was alright. Despite all the rave reviews it's gotten, there were quite a few missed opportunities. There were definitely some really great moments that no one saw coming...but too few and far between. The set was amazing; just a giant house - 2 floors - taking up the entire stage. The lighting was impressive as well; in the far right window you can see the headlights of a car driving by every once in a while and it was such a great effect. Felt very tranquil and realistic, as if a car was actually driving by or making a turn outside the house.

My biggest gripe is not only did they underuse certain parts of the house/set, but one of the actors wasn't really that good lol. It took me out of the experience :/

And the story left me confused. Other people in the audience were also left confused as we talked about it on our way out. I don’t know. I give it a 3/5 - which is solid! It's spooky and funny and the sets and lighting are great!!...but its downsides are that great set isn't utilized to its full potential, the story didn't make much sense to me (it does but it doesn't...one of those lol), and the acting was meh from one of the performers 🤷🏻‍♂️

The movies were better 😭

ANYWAYS. I hope you're all having a good day! I'm on my way to get my stitches removed. My finger is still tender to the touch, so I don’t know if they should even come out now lol. But I'll discuss that with my doctor.

When I get back home I'll be jumping back into the hot seat to record! PROJECT ALPHA will be first on my menu!!
