I love the whole concept of the MV. After the teaser was released Koreans were mentioning the MV has so much Korean symbolism, mythology, history and culture in it. I really like diving into these things further. Someone mentioned the face off between Chan and Seungmin is probably a reference to Korea's founding mythology where a bear and tiger wanted to become human and had to compete by seeing who could live the longest in a cave, in the dark with limited food. In the mythology the winner who became human gave birth to the founding leader of Korea. Similarly in the MV, although the tiger (Chan) is strong, powerful and determined in pushing ahead, it is the bear (Seungmin) who is more stable and has better endurance and wins. Seungmin as the victor in the MV gets lifted into the air by the dancers but then its Hyunjin we see emerge from a cave. I was thinking maybe Hyunjin is supposed to represent the human that the bear becomes. The lyrics when Chan and Seungmin confront each other seemed even more impactful when I found out about this. We then go from caves to the creation of a city. K-Stays have also said the MV makes reference to and combines things from the 3 ancient kingdoms of Korea. I'm thinking that maybe this is being used as a foundation or influence in creating their own modern version of a Stay City and showing they're still connected to their roots. It feels like a celebration of everything they've done. A number of previous song titles are mentioned throughout the song, although more discrete ones so not sure if it's a coincidence - In the dark, All my life, We Go, Another Day, Night, B Me, Easy, Zone, Never Alone. People have also mentioned that they are using bits of choreo from previous songs, I'm not great when it comes to dancing so haven't picked up where that is specifically.

Incredible. All of it. It's a pretty big music video for it being a pre-release. Would love to be a fly on the wall in their creative meetings haha
