So not spoilers (not from competitions), but more of 'what are they doing now'. Keen and Fluke were signed to GMMTV really quickly after the show along with one other and eventually the fourth of Aungpao and Ashi. Keen went straight to a lead role in a cutesy BL and is now about to release 3rd full series as lead and one short series. Fluke has also acted in several series and working on music still under Riser Music (GMMTV). Keen also now has a 4 member boy band with Achi and Aungpao and Jeff Satur's protoge singer, Barcode, called Clo'ver .

haven’t finished watching yet (so idk if you explicitly mention it in the end of the reaction! just wanted to say before i fall asleep in case i forget when i finish tomorrow😭) bc i have to be up early but i have a list of what every contestant has been up to since the show ended. do you want me to comment it, or would you rather wait until you encounter the one contestant who’s in duang with you? can’t believe we’re already here!!! i’m gonna miss watching these every week🥲 i bought a bag of lays max around the time you filmed ep4 but i’ve never been hungry when you’ve uploaded an ep so maybe i’ll have to wait until s2 to eat while watching😭😭😭😭 i don’t really mind the voting from fans only being 10% but only in this specific case because i don’t think the votes being any higher would’ve changed anything. i think william lego and tui were 100% locked, there was basically no way the three of them weren’t debuting, and from what i can tell based on fan reactions (they’ve never publicized how the fan voting has gone aside from revealing the top 5 voted in previous weeks) hong and nut were the most popular. so the results prob wouldn’t have changed, it just would’ve made the gap between nut and the other person in the running for 5th place (who i’ve always assumed is nicky) larger f1’s song the lucky one WAS actually on 789survival haha,,, it’s one of the songs that the two hosts tor thanapob and ice paris performed with their full group 9x9 (the song’s original singers!) during the finale :) the part the members wrote was the rap segment where they were standing by the alphas i think everyone did great in f2’s performance but im so proud of aungpao. he’s come so far from being who the judges have referred to as one of the weakest contestants to having such incredible stage presence here🥲 BIG fan of the time earthbender comparison . given that time is famously my favorite survival show contestant Ever and i’ve always loved earth stuff like earthbenders / ground type pokemon. i’d probably use the term out of sync too tbh the first alpha performance is currently the most popular performance of the show (i’m not even sure how it happened bc when i got into project alpha it wasn’t that popular. it just kinda went viral all of a sudden last year😭) and i get why!!! it’s one of my favorites you can tell just how relaxed they are and i think their chemistry together is GREAT. i think the four of them have the best chemistry among all of the alpha combinations, even william/fluke/nut/lego and they’d been performing together for WEEKS. william’s rap is one of my fav performance moments of the whole show and i love the little callbacks at the end to nicky’s stand by lo performance and fluke’s good boy ending fairy🥲 (the guest judge you pointed out, chin chinawut, is half thai and half french i think?) i’ve kinda switched back and forth when it comes to whether i prefer f1’s or f2’s performance. i think f1 was more technically sound and they had more fun on stage but f2 had the feelings more down. i could FEEL how badly f2 wanted to debut. so i get why the judges were split and that’s why i’ve changed my mind back and forth. currently i think i’d choose f1 if i was there. and i think f1 having nut and hong who fit the image they had in mind for the final group really well helped sway that decision. as good as the best beta’s performance was, i HATE their song😭 one of my least favorite songs on the show i cannot stand it unfortunately😭😭😭but they did so well here! i think deaw was my favorite but hong did SO well. when i first watched it felt like i was finally seeing what the judges had seen in him since the beginning he really did amazing i don’t really have anything to say about the alphas. they were just,,,, so good. i don’t have a single complaint. i can’t believe nicky didn’t debut. he was such a standout here. i think it’s interesting that you like the betas performance more bc this one is SO perfect to me i’ve always felt so weird saying this because when it comes to the actual group post debut, nut and hong are my biases, but i don’t agree with the final lineup😭😭😭😭😭 i just think it’s CRAZY that nicky didn’t debut. i think if the results were judged purely off of how well they did in the final performances, the lineup should’ve been william lego tui nicky and either hong or deaw, and if the results were judged off of how well they did overall in the show, the lineup should’ve been william lego tui nicky and nut. so then combined it would be william lego tui nicky and then either hong nut or deaw. i just cannot believe they genuinely thought nicky wasn’t in the top 5 in these performances and the only reason i can think of is that the judges felt like hong and nut both fit their vision for the group better than nicky did. having stanned the group and biased nuthong for over two years, i can’t imagine the group without both of them, but it does really suck for nicky. i don’t Think im coming from a place of bias either , bc as much as i love nicky, deaw’s even higher in my rankings and i’m not arguing that he was super robbed either. i just really don’t think i can wrap my mind around the decision unless im looking at it from a “we have a very specific vision for the debut group that nicky doesn’t fit” way. bc what they were saying about the fifth person winning in the voting doesn’t mean nicky won among the judges but nut’s votes pushed him over the edge, it means nicky and nut were Tied among the judges and i just ,,,, can’t wrap my mind around it !!!! idk !!!! i love nut so much and i love hong so much but these results will literally never make sense to me😭 i know that’s like a sad note for me to leave my long comments off on. so i just wanted to say i am SO glad you decided to react to project alpha. this show means so much to me and this is the first time ive seen a reactor watching it without knowing the final lineup so i’ve loved seeing your predictions. i’m gonna miss opening up my notes app to write these long comments (no matter what survival show you watch next there’s no show that i have as much to say about as i do for project alpha😭) ill miss this🥲 thank you for your great reaction :)

i think i mentioned it in the comments before (i have the memory of a goldfish😭) but you should for sure check out laz icon if you have the time for another survival show and can get the subtitles to work on bilibili. it’s my fav survival show after project alpha and a TON of the contestants have acted in BLs so you’ve either seen some of them or Will be seeing some of them soon (i know at least 2? are in duang with you) . the only other thai survival show i’ve watched is 2houses. it’s fun but i dont recommend it as hard as i’d recommend laz icon

taking the like as a yes? but if you don’t wanna see , i didn’t mention duang anywhere and hopefully the length of the comment is so long nothing will be shown before the view more button shows up so you won’t have to see it if you don’t want😭 just going off of what’s public here, i don’t know everything as i can’t speak thai and im not about to start digging into everyone’s private lives to find out what they’re doing immediately after the show ended, keen, fluke, and aungpao signed with gmmtv. ashi signed with gmmtv later that year and prom just signed with them this may!!!! ashi: made a couple cameos in a gmmtv show (along with time and boss) and has since acted as a supporting character in a couple shows. member of the boy group clo’ver (alongside aungpao, keen, and one non project alpha contestant) aungpao: acted as a supporting character in a couple shows. member of the boy group clo’ver bigger: does theater i think? boss: made a couple cameos in a show alongside ashi and time. not currently active in the entertainment industry as far as i’m aware champ: auditioned for the survival show chuang asia season 2 but didn’t get casted (which is SO stupid. i watched that show and there were so many contestants who could neither sing nor dance idk why they would cast them over someone who does both but i digress😭) not currently active in the entertainment industry as far as i’m aware deaw: acted in a movie, participated in a reality show/survival show called way to you that was looking to debut a chinese-thai duo, is currently auditioning for another company rn? not entirely sure but he’s still looking to be active in the industry (thankfully🙏) eark: not currently active in the entertainment industry as far as i’m aware fluke: debuted as a soloist. acted as a supporting character in a couple shows (including a show where he and lego played friends!). is now a member of the project boy group flio. flio is also part of a bigger project group called cloud dream project, which is a combination of flio and the jpop group wolf howl harmony. one of the members of flio was actually a guest on project alpha ep 9! kade: bl actor NOT under gmmtv. also uploads (or at least i know he used to) soundcloud songs under the name zcret + is a streamer karn: he was on this one show where i think the premise was that it’s a survival show but it’s sponsored by plastic surgeons so you had to do well in singing AND have the best plastic surgery transformation???? there aren’t eng subs so i don’t fully get it but he ended up debuting in the co-ed group uptale. i think he’s also a model? and he was jeff satur’s body double for a concert keen: acted as a main character in a couple shows. member of the boy group clo’ver kenji: member of the co-ed group alters (along with james from universe league!) kop: was a professional backup dancer for a while but last i heard he quit that and is now a flight attendant korn: did theater for a while and was in a cellphone commercial? but i know he quit theater so i don’t think he’s active in the industry at the moment music: has been the saxophone player in a couple bands. his old band was capybara band and his current band is the jaes newearth: not currently active in the entertainment industry as far as i’m aware nicky: this guy had been scheduled to debut SO many times and it fell through every time. he was a predebut member of two boy groups,, one of them he left like a week before debut and the other one was cancelled entirely and i think he was also scheduled to debut as a soloist twice before then too. he FINALLY just debuted as a soloist a few months ago :) otto: bl actor phat: was a member of a predebut boy group but the debut was cancelled. now he’s a musical theater actor and it seems to be going very well for him (it looks like he’s getting the lead role pretty much all the time haha) peempeem: not currently active in the entertainment industry? i think? he mentioned in like. december that he was a predebut member of a group but there’s been no news since then prom: was a member of the boy group nevone but left a few months ago. joined gmmtv in may. time: made a couple cameos in a show alongside ashi and boss. not currently active in the entertainment industry as far as i’m aware :( i miss him so bad :(

Yay, can’t wait for you to get to know the group and their music 😊. Do you not want to know their name until you watch Alpha Roommate? I was going to send you a list of my favorite songs by them, but maybe I should wait until you know their name? I started out with wanting you to react to their first mv and their last, but I’ve changed my mind on that,hehe, now I want you to watch my favorite music videos 😆. There is one solo song by one of the members that I’m 99% sure they’re going to play on season 2 in some way. It’s been really popular lately. I’m just going to say it’s Hong’s solo song. All of them have their own solo song on their next album. So far Hong, Nut and William have released theirs. You asked what the name of Keen’s bl was, the first one is called Only Boo and it’s set in the same universe as the final groups’ series. Their show is called Thamepo and William is the main lead in that one with his acting partner Est. The rest of the group is also in it. I don’t know if you’ve watched a lot of Thai bl or know anything about it, but bl couples are more than just acting partners. They have fancons, fanmeets, events and tv shows they go on and they have music together. So it’s not just acting in a show together. I would love it if you watched Thamepo, it’s my favorite bl 😊. It would also be fun if you watched the one Lego and Fluke is in too, their show is part of an anthology and it’s only four episodes. Their show is called Mu Te Luv: Diva Deva Meta. Lego and Fluke is not a pairing in it. Keen is also part of that anthology with his acting partner. Nut and Hong is in a bl together, but they are not the main leads and I’m not sure if they’re going to be a couple in it or just friends. The characters they play are together in the novel it’s based on, but they might not do that for the show. They are together or were together in the novel that the show is based on. There has been some negativity from some of the group’s fans, they don’t want them to act in bl shows and they were not very nice about it. Est, William’s acting partner has said that he was thinking about quitting their show because of all the hate he and William got. There are still fans of the group that don’t want them acting and Nut and Hong might have had to consider that too, when they were cast in their bl show. Nut and Hong are a really popular ship in the group. I don’t know if they even want to be a bl couple together. They haven’t really said anything about it, that I have seen. Tui is in a show that’s airing right now or it has just finished 🤔. He’s not the main lead in it. Him and Lego is also going to be in a new bl, but I don’t know how big their roles are going to be. They aren’t a couple in it as far as I know, just supporting cast. William and Est is a side couple in a bl that’s also airing right now. It’s a sort of season two of a popular bl and William has a bigger role in it now, his part wasn’t big in season one. They also have a new show that’s going to air pretty soon, I think, it’s called You Maniac. Can’t wait!! Williamest is my favorite bl couple, if that wasn’t clear already 👀. My bias in their group is also William and Lego and Hong as a close second. I just love his voice and he’s an adorable little goofball 😊. Bl/Gl shows and actors also have a ton of merch!!! It’s too much, I’ve spent so much money one bl/gl/tpop merch 🙈. And the member pricing 🙄, Hong why are you so expensive to buy cards of. The member pricing doesn’t come from gmmtv/Riser, that’s the fans’ doing. Some of my favorite songs from the group is from their bl show. Especially the song Tui sings, it’s the theme song. Oh, and their live performances, they have so many good ones. Some of my favorites are Lego doing a Bollywood cover and his Rhianna covers from their last big concert. Oh and William singing Whitney Houston’s I Have Nothing and his live performances of three songs with one of the judges. The judge plays the piano while he sings. One of the songs is a Bruno Mars cover.

I'm all for having Marco react to ThamePo! 😍 Now that he knows the final group, it would be so cool to see him react to the series that features the entire group. Especially because Marco is already knowledgeable about K-pop and the idol industry, I think the story would be incredibly interesting to him. The series centers around a T-pop boy band and explores different aspects of the idol industry, including the parasocial relationships between idols and fans. I think he would have a lot of fun with it!

On one hand it sucks that so many aren't in the limelight anymore and have gone radio silent; but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. There is a whole entire world outside of the entertainment industry these guys can explore. I do wish them the best either way. It's always nice to keep update on their life journeys, so I get it 😭

Since you already know the name of the group I’m just going to name a few of my favorite songs by them 😊. Lykn: First Sight, Drip, Sugoi, If Only, Let’s go (Hong solo), Flashback (William solo), Tasty (Nut solo), No Way Thamepo OST songs: Destined (Tui), Who Says, Would You Mind, 5cm (William), Fly High, Good Time (William and est) (the mv is so cute!) Last Twilight: William’s ost song from another show that they are not in, he just did the song Love Echo: a song that William and Est have together. It’s not from a bl, it’s just a song they did together. Their solo performances from their first big concert in Thailand, And their second big one from last year. William singing a Whitney Houston song and Lego’s Rhianna covers, the group’s Love Shot cover, William’s live performances with one of the judges, the judge plays the piano and he sings.
