I’m not going to lie, this is one of my lower tier SKZ songs, and thanks to you I get why now. First off, the lyrics are a bit too corny for my liking (especially the chorus). Besides that, what you mention about the “chill dudes”, it could have worked, but I feel like the song and M/V kinda give CORTIS’ Fasion vibes, which I think the energy of that song they should have brought over. I still like the song, just not as much as previous comebacks.

I really like the lyrics! They're playful and fun...and as much as I love my deeper meaning songs I don’t think every song needs a lot of depth and meaning for it to be something of value. When you said you didn't like it as much and now get why, I thought "Did I just make Sven dislike a song?" 😅😅

I think my expectations were raised too high by Run It, so I thought "This album/title track is going to be insane". My ranking of the album songs would be like this: Run It: 11/10 (Objectively the best) After You: 10/10 (My favourite on the album) I Do: 9,5/10 This & That: 9/10 Farming: 9/10 Way Out: 8/10 Back Then: 8/10 This & That Festival Ver: 7/10 (10/10 when drunk at a hardstyle rave 😂😂)

When I read the translated lyrics I liked it more than on my initial listen - there was more to the song than I 1st thought.  It's another song calling out the neighsayers. I'm glad they can use their music to do this, they can't always openly say or even express an oppinion in their industry. Maybe the corny parts are a way of putting a lighthearted spin on this and who knows, maybe its cathartic for them. We know they've had problems especially with deepfakes and the trailer seemed to calling out AI too. I like how how they mainly sing about doing this and that but at the end it changes to even though your talking this and that.  Also the part 'to you asking if that's all I got' ....into the chorus of actually we've got this and that times 2. There is supposed to be a lot of witt and word play in the Korean lyrics, it just doesn't translate. I've mainly been listening to After you

Oh, there is definitely cheekiness involved haha. I feel Stray Kids always insert a bit of depth in their lyrics....so much of their music is a mssg. That's why it doesn't bother me when they drop songs that might not be the most emotionally in-depth because so much of their music already has that lol. Can’t wait to get to the album!
