I love my KongArt couple ❤️ “I’m going to make you my wife” is iconic dialogue in bl series. Bc back then doesn’t have “top” n “bottom” yet, so they refer it as husband n wife. At the cafeteria “I like men” is kind of diabolical bc this storyline timeline is when back then in Thailand LGBT++ community is still small in Thailand(minority) n kinda not really been accepted back then. When I discovered this series, what I like is like you say it’s doesn’t give bl series vibe so much bc I been watching a lot bl series n I thought bc they called it’s bl so everyone in the series is gay like the whole friends group. TMI : actually during that time their company GMMTV actually in the urge of bankrupt and this series became a big hit in Thailand n save the company. In GMMTV Sotus is referring as series “as path the way” especially in bl industry. I did watch their old iv, they wish people became open minded for LGBT series n now I did watch their new iv when they say they happy how LGBT series now has became n people okay with it n they happy that their junior in the company doesn’t have to face what they face back them. I believe it was last year iv when the actors Singto (Kongpop) n Krist (Arthit) say that back then during sotus despite the series became a big hit in Thailand, in the Thai industry back then people in the same industry didn’t acknowledge as actors just because they starring in bl, even though after that they actually also starring in straight series.They also say back then people kinda avoid them because they are labelled as Y actors.They also share about how back then GMMTV is just about to be stable and how they didn’t have media training n bodyguards to protect them when they going to live event and in their on the way back they been attacked by a big of homophobic group and their fan is called as “Peraya”( combination of both their birth name) is the one protect them n they say how thankful they are to their fan. Peraya is known as the rich fandom in Thailand “ top spender” as they wrapped GMMTV building for 10 years without a missed.
