Audrey left for surgery yesterday and we’ve been bracing for this for a few weeks. I’m unable to go with her because we can’t find a dog sitter for weenie. I’m flying out her sister in law to surprise her when she wakes up (tomorrow afternoon), with a teddy bear.

Needless to say, it’s difficult being apart for something like this, but she’s handling it great and i feel better knowing she’ll wake up to a familiar face. Audrey also has a friend of hers with her for the full recovery.

But I haven’t been recording so I could be there for her and help keep her calm and stress free to this point, and got back on the horse this morning. It’ll be on its way soon though!
