are you still planning on watching the fosters at some point? no rush, just thought I'd ask! <3

To my knowledge it's just inspired by the story of Fleetwood Mac and not actually based on any real events/people. I picked up the book for this a while back but haven't gotten around to reading it. Same situation pretty much with the show, lol. But this is kind of giving me an excuse to actually finally watch it. It's more fun talking about it with other people anyway.

I was born in 83 and my mom was around the age you mentioned at that time, lol. So if it helps you're not the only one who's 40+. Or as Audrey has put it before, 40-ish. 😂

This band and story is loosely based on Fleetwood Mac and all their drama that went on behind the scenes. There’s a documentary on YouTube that sums up their history called “Don’t Stop”. Whether on your on time or on Patreon, it’s worth the watch :)

all the actors in the show sang !! they all went to band camp before shooting, really cool

So glad you’re continuing with this show, I agree I think it’s such a good one for you specifically to react to!

While we are going through all this moving and visa stuff, it’s a little on hold. But I’m on it and will keep folks posted 👍

I am so happy you are reacting to this, I read this book a few summers ago and I remember reading the whole thing in 2 days it was so good. I recently rewatched the show and thought of recommending it to you, so shoutout to Clara!

stevie nicks actually watched this show and loved it. i definitely think you should read the book. i actually loved the book so much. also as somebody suggested u should definitely read up on fleetwood mac’s history. such an amazing band they made one of the best albums of all time while they’re band was falling apart and everybody hated each other🤣
