I always found the billy & daisy addiction dynamic to be incredibly interesting as well mostly because I just see it as they are just people in different stages of their stories. Like billy has been a rockstar, he has lost control and learned to regain it whereas i feel like daisy has always been around the life and chasing this goal that she doesn't even know she's lost.

I think it’s interesting that you felt you aren’t fully sure of Daisy’s backstory and what drove her to drinking/drugs (her neglectful parents in childhood, being r*ped, getting her music stolen from her). I actually felt the opposite that we have seen all the lows of Daisy’s past that cause her to see the world in a negative light, whereas Billy’s addiction almost came out of nowhere. The cheating/drugs seemed out of character for him esp so soon in episode 2! Just differences in perspective i guess!
