Weirdly this is probably one of my more faveourite episodes, never laughed so much before at a shameless episode.

I think with Tami, Lip comes in and interrupts her while she is busy at work wanting to talk about the baby. He doesn't ask how she's doing, he just wants to know if she is going to keep it. It's been two days since she found out. She doesn't know yet, it's only been 2 days! So he comes off as pushing her for a decision. And yes she kind of assumes he is demanding to be part of that decision and gets defensive. He should have waited and talked to her when they had time, like she did at the end. I loved and agreed with your reaction to Fiona, and Lip and V's convo. I know first hand how hard it is to deal with an alcoholic loved one and the choices you are sometimes forced to make.

I believe season 9 has 14 episodes so they could properly send off Fiona as the actress left the show.

A lot of people don't like Tami, but i do enjoy her and think she's Lip's second best love interest after Mandy.

Yes to the comments, no to the being ahead 😂 I was ahead during all the moving but that caught up fast 😂 but yes, I already knew Fiona would be leaving the show.

To me, Tami wanting space made sense. It's not just a "do I want to keep it: y/n" situation. It's 1. do i want a baby. 2. do i want one now. 3. do i want one with Lip. And then there's practical concerns like can they afford a child? where will they live? I think it's last episode or the one before, they couldn't even agree on a place to sleep. Besides, it's VERY clear Lip wants kids and will make a great dad. He wants kids almost desperately, judging by how he is with Xan. And Tami needs space and time to figure out those questions for herself without being influenced by Lip's eagerness. He tries to come off neutrally, but he's not. And I'm sure Tami has picked up on it. There's already so much social pressure on women to have kids, it can be difficult to separate that from what you want for your own life even without a partner influencing you. I've had colleagues who didn't want kids eventually cave to their partners who did want kids "just to shut them up". And it breaks my heart, because I don't wish that on any kid, the feeling of not being wanted by a parent. But I also have sympathy for the mothers, because so often you're told "oh, you'll change your mind" if you're a woman and say you don't want kids. Anyway, this is how I'm reading the scenes between Lip and Tami this episode. Sorry for the long rant. I have a lot of friends and colleagues who don't want kids so it's something I've thought about a lot. 😅
