My cousin has the BRCA gene, from the side of the family with no blood relation, and even when she wanted the surgery they still questioned her about having kids. Her response to them was that she had a 20 and 17 year old and she was done, but they still asked her at 41.

I don’t know what kind of figure you are to me but I know it’s a meaningful one. I kid you not..you got me sober. Watching your videos on YouTube gave me hope and helped me work up the nerve.. then I started my program and moved onto patreon because I knew I wanted to have “you” help me on my journey and I thank god for it and ask him to protect you at all times lol. I’m around 11 months off of F (through street pills not just straight up, I didn’t know what all was in it until I started getting sick) anyway I know I got kinda corny there but I hope you really do know how much you touch our hearts in so many ways.

Btw it’s good for a woman’s health to eat red meat (:

Sillyheaddd

that’s definitely the main one, we lose lots of blood once a month every month so most women are anemic 💀

I appreciate your usage of carte Blanche, lmao. I'll use it when people irritate me at work that they think they just have carte blanche to do whatever the fuck they want. Usually gets me ??? reactions as it's not a saying used that often 😂 At least not here.

Sillyheaddd

31% of the women they tested for anemia not 31% of the actual population of women.

From the cancer POV: Yeah, "just fight it" is a baaaaaaaaaad view for a doctor to have. Cancer fucking sucks. They could've brought up the patient doing fertility preservation (they said that they had been trying "for a few months" - but that could mean just the good old natural way) - that takes around 3 weeks to do, then those probably rich people could hire a surrogate to bear a child for them. However, fertility preservation isn't brought up around 40-50 percent of the time when young adults (aka aged 18-39) are diagnosed. And yeah, cancer is something people don't truly understand until they are staring down the barrel of it. I bet every one of my cancer friends, if they were told by a time traveling surgeon "You can get this surgery and you have an 85% chance of not having your cancer ever appear" - all of them would take it in a heartbeat. Yeah, the surgical menopause sucks (by all accounts that I have heard) - but it is better than cancer. Although I have no experience in the realm of lady cancers - just friends with them.

Well, hm. You're too young to be my dad. But you are a good influence. Very wise. Very interesting. And quite a bit clever. So, good on you. Yeah, people do have a hard time with sobriety. When I got sober, my longtime boyfriend and I had to break up. He didn't like sober me. Luckily, I liked sober me a lot. I have found over the years, as my truths came out, that I am definitely not for everyone. I'm a bit much. And that's okay. The people who stick around, who are moved by my words, are infinitely worth it. I like having you out here with your truths. You're good for the world.

i 100 percent hated Izzy's line "get cancer, and fight like hell to survive." I have had cancer go through my family. It's insidious. And not an EASY thing to survive
