Just watched episodes 3 and 4 back to back. Yeah Izzy's whole delimma is heartbreaking! It really is difficult to (as Danny put it) get back up on the horse and being kicked down hard. I've done it multiple times for multiple reasons myself. Never gets easier, but I think I got stronger each time. My lastest one (ironically because of Denny) has to do with my heart. It's hard to want to listen to doctors say if you don't do physical therapy and lose weight and change your diet, you will end up in surgery. I know it's what's best for me, but it is easy to slip into depression and give up. I'm getting a treadmill this weekend and starting my exercises!! I have plenty of Patreon to catch up on while I do it. 😁

Danny, you did not just compare the amazing Callie Torres to that man Preston Burke LOL! Take it back (jk) but by the end of this season I fully expect you will feel differently. To clarify, Callie wasn't ready to move in; she was just crashing with him for a few weeks until she got an apartment. What Callie expects of George is a mature relationship where he uses his words to talk about his feelings with her, the person he's in the relationship with and not just to his friends. To me, that is simply miles apart from the chunks of Cristina's personality and values Burke expects her to either abandon or change and the manipulative tactics he uses to either punish her if she doesn't conform to his way of thinking or force her to do things differently to get the desired result he wants. The levels of toxicity and miscommunication and emotional abuse are vastly different. But I do get what you're saying about two different levels of immaturity sparring with each other. Totally agree. It's like what Callie said to Finn: it's high school with scalpels. And I was so with you when you were like that is not the way to deal with the issue when Cristina and Burke were like let's just team up to not tell people there's an issue with his hand. It's such a stupid decision for two very smart people.

I'm also not entirely sure how much time is supposed to have passed since the end of the last season, but shows usually reflect real time, so if the last episode of the season was in May and the first was in September, that's roughly the same amount of time that has passed on the show. So it's probably been about 4-5 months since Burke was shot, which would also coincide with his healing. Callie and George were already together by then, which would mean they've been dating for about half a year. She was open from the beginning about what she wanted and how she felt about him. It's all up to George at this point. He has to learn to communicate better and after this time Callie can expect that and I understand why she's losing patience. I'm totally on her side.

I think with Callie, she would be more patient if Izzy-especially Izzy-and Meredith, to a degree, were nicer to her. They've been icing her out, and that doesn't get mentioned enough
