This show is great to have you crying one minute and laughing the next. From your opening: Everyone has their own story with their parents good or bad and it is theirs to be compared with no one else’s. I hope no one ever gives you a hard time about yours. I do hope you watch at least one more episode before deciding. Episode 3 is a popular one and might get higher viewer numbers than 2. This is considered a weaker episode of the season though there is a lot to love.

I’m watching all of it 😂 this fit perfectly with where the channel is going and it was a no brainer really. I’ll be releasing the first season at two episodes a week. During that time I’ll be testing out some other shows that will hopefully help add one to the YT schedule. The hope is to have three different shows along these lines for YT, and here will have so much more with sci-fi and horror options (<—was the original idea for all this and I want to keep watching some 😂).

My mom was an alcoholic. She died when I was 21 (2007). I know it's such a difficult thing to explain the mix feelings I felt when she died. (She died from diabetes, she stopped drinking for few months before she died). But I felt sad, but also glad to some extent because I didn't have to deal with the unpredictable things she would do, and worrying that something happened to her, because she got in a fight, or fell asleep somewhere when she was away from here house. People didn't agree how I felt about my mom either. But the reality is unless you go through it, you don't understand the feeling of it. Later as I matured I realized or more accepted that she (and my dad, which is another story in itself) did what they could with what they were given, and with their shortcomings, and abilities. My mom was 20 when she had me. My dad was 23.

My parents were young when they had me too. Around the same age. It’s an interesting thing to realize that some of the understanding I lacked when I was younger, could literally only be explained when I got older. And then other epiphanies as a result of remembering how many times I would hear “you’ll know when you’re older” and remembering thinking that it was a shitty answer 😂 now I’m like “OOOOOOH” 😂 I’m sorry you went through that, but at the same time glad you’re here and going through this together with me. Thank you so much 🙏

Any chance you could put the subtitles on? Sometimes the dialogue is a little too quiet

I’m sorry 😣 the mic is new and I’m working on better sound catching during the recordings. It’s also hard with the edits since it isn’t consistent. I’ll talk to my editor and let him know. 🙏

I can’t believe my parents ever invited me to watch this with them when I was younger . Very glad I never did but equally glad to be watching it with you now
