the ian and jimmy's dad thing was so shocking when I first watched it haha. great reaction. i feel like with each episode ian gradually gets more to do. i love how much he tries to talk to fiona in this episode but keeps being interrupted. great cliffhanger for him for season 3. since he's my favorite character i love we're finally seeing a bit more of him in the later half of season 2. I've really liked jimmy-steve but i can absolutely appreciate him in the past two episodes. he's good in this crisis and was there for the family at every step without trying to bribe them with breakfast, gifts, or money, which is what always put me off on him to begin with. the monica stuff is so heartbreaking. i was so proud of her for saying to frank that she needed to stay. even though she ultimately made the choice to follow through on the break out plan, if frank just left her alone and trusted her to make that choice for herself, she would still be there. and i hate him for that.

the immediate strike from record Ian and the old guy comment was so funny .. its something you've just got to look past (which is hard) with shows especially a show like this lmao.. they do a little better in later seasons with not normalizing it as much which is good and something to look forward to
