Okay, time for painting video #3! I think I'm getting the hang of getting better footage, but I'm still using my old Xperia at this stage.

how come you do two layers of highlighting on the grey instead of just one? to create a more gradual shift in color or you just decided the first layer wasn't bright enough?

It just didn't get white enough in one go. It might look white as you're painting it but that's because you are seeing it relative to the grey base coat. If you place the piece next to something really white (like a piece of paper) you can notice that it's like a bit greyish. If you want a whiter white, start with a less dark grey, or do more layers.
