No.24 for 2023 - HG Dygenguar (Patreon)

The Dygnenguar (DGG) is one of Bandai's better SRW entries. There are a few seams on the sword hilts and blade of the Zankantou, but you could probably get away with skipping these. The worst part of this kit is the sword hilts, which have quite a number of details that need to be masked if you want complete accuracy. I opted to skip these for now as I wanted to focus on finishing 30 for 2023 and I will finish repainting them during December.

The massive Zankantou blade also has giant curved plastic supports(?) on the back which are somewhat visible from the front unless you do some sanding.

Blue - Russian Aircraft Blue 2 + Blue FS 15044 preshade (Freedom blue), followed by Starter White technique, then cover with Titans Blue 2 + bit of Wine Red + Blue FS 15044 + Bit of red

Red - White primer, preshade with red brown, starter white technique, then spot highlights with Yellow + bit of Fluro Orange, then cover with GX Red

Bluish Silver - Gaia EX Black gloss coat, then Super Metallic Duralumin + Cyan

Silver - Gaia EX Black gloss coat, then Super Metallics Super Iron 2

Gold - Gaia EX Black gloss coat, followed by Gaia Starbright Gold + bit of EX Clear Orange
