ok UPDATE! she was right that I made an error in my (mental/guesstimated, lol) calculations of the arsenic concentrations! I took the conclusions directly from the author’s three papers, but it seems that they really should have issued a correction to their discussion section & introduction sections of their papers. the amounts of arsenic are still negligible, and equivalent to 1/10th a cup of dry rice, apparently. the rest of the risks I mentioned remain valid!
