A single phone call changed everything. Forced you to come back to the painful past you once buried and abandoned. Life is not so easily left behind.

The guilt, the shame, and the anger is the only thing you felt. Running away from your past with the hope of throwing away all the pain and to build something new.

This game is not that good. Sorry Amom, not trying to be a dick, but some of these cross promos don't work out. Howie needs some serious help in story development/writing.

You're not being a dick, I totally understand where you're coming from. This game is new, only two chapters so far, and Howie is a good guy trying to find his rhythm. If you've noticed, a lot of the crosspromos I do are with smaller devs that are just trying to get eyes on their games looking for early feedback or new fans. Some of them hit, some of them miss, and no offense taken whatsoever.

I like it, like Amom said, there are only 2 chapters yet, but i think Past Tense has really potential, so i pledged him a little, what i saw wasnt bad, in fact i really liked it, but its too short to judge at the moment, so i gave him a chance, we will see how it works out !

Ok, played the 2 existing chapters of Howies Past Tense and i must say...its really good ! I like the Story, the only reason why there is nothing to connect the dots is that there is not enough of the game now to implement more story, but i think it looks really promising, i liked it very much.... No Pussy MC, gorgeous LIs and a promising story, he did really good, i think if all works out for him, this could be a Top 10 AVN for sure ! So this is really a recomendation by me, i would give it.... a 8 out of 10 👍🥰💯 The only thing he need to change its the time between chapters...1 year is far too long...

I disagree, this game is very good, you cant expect him to tell the whole story in 2 short chapters...i think his storytelling is very good and has suspence in it, the story will develop as it gets more chapters for sure...and i like that its a slowburner, i hate AVNs where they fuck like rappids from the beginning, this gets boring really fast... So like i said before...in my opinion for a new Dev at nearly his beginning...he did an exceptional good Job with his AVN ! 👍💯🫡

I'm not asking for the dev to tell the whole story in the first 2 chapters lol. There was just a lot of context missing that should be in the game in the early stages. These are just common plot points that most stories include in the beginning. I'm not asking for the full story or twists in the beginning, but a little context goes a long way for establishing the foundation of the story and there were just a lot of head scratchers in the first 2 chapters. It felt like playing with amnesia through the MC's eyes. Having a slow burn narrative is fine as long as you have the right amount of chapters to flesh out all of the character arcs. He's mentioned 6 chapters are in play right now and we've just completed chapter 2 with very little interaction (relationship building) with the 5 main LIs. There's a lot of plot points that are suggested in the first 2 points. I can't conceivably see how Howie hits the mark on all with 6 chapters planned.

You are right in some ways, 6 chapter should be half of the game, the chapters are also on the short side, so 6 chapters are not enough for sure. And yes, it could be more structured in the first 2 chapters, but that didnt bother me. So we will see where this goes, i think he got a good start, its up to him where this goes, i also did tell him he should take a look at really great AVNs like Hillside, Office Perks 😉, Fog of War or The Neverwhere Tales-Book one...to see how good AVNs are doing this. We will see where this all leads him...one way or another.
