Yildun is/will be an excellent husband, but he's also a fantastic guard. Even instinctively protecting that dancer, I think Polaris has a layer of pride underneath the shock that Yildun was drunk and still great at his job. It doesn't take away the doubt or the flash of shame he felt about that doubt either. But Yildun has always been a good man, and Polaris knows that too. The fact that the dancer looked like him is CRAZY, though. I'm sure he's nice but why stray when he's got Polaris at home?

He has! :D Back in Volume 2 when they are talking by the carriage in the woods Yildun tells Polaris at least about how he became his reason for being a knight at a very young age < 3
