Yildun really needs to stop acting like the king. I know he's worried about public opinion and noble strife and he's smart to do so. But, if Polaris wants to walk that rough road with you, if he loves you enough to deem it worth it, then just take him by the hand and walk it.

I'm sad but I sooo understand where Yildun is coming from. Of course he loves and wants to be with Polaris but... Polaris has a duty to his people and YIldun is aware of that. He's being honest and his feelings are valid. It's not easy to be with someone who is in such a high position because you want to do what's best for them and support them the way they need to be supported so that they don't suffer. Yildun probably wishes he could share Polaris' burdens but he's aware that he probably can't. Love Yildun sooo much!!!
