Journey to the West: Sun Wukong - Full reveal (Patreon)

The Calm Before the Myth.

The cinematic trailer set the mood, but our still images allow you to explore the legend up close. Swipe to see our 1/6 scale homage to Sun Wukong, the Monkey King, frozen in a moment of absolute predatory tension.

We created this piece to be a breathtaking shock. Where Sun Wukong, hardened by battles, contrasts with the beautiful, stylized golden celestial clouds below him. Every inch of this vertical diorama tells a part of the classic Journey to the West myth—from the quietude of the master crow's nest to the mountain peak where the battle of the gods will begin!
