New patron here. I caught up with MPL after a two day binge read and cannot wait till it returns, that being said I’m loving AB and it looks like it will fill the space left by MPL! I don’t understand why readers are offended by the kiss, the reason for it and the discussion afterwards are sufficient and it’s a vital part of story. It explains the wine, and shows that he is not that wild as the kiss seemed gentle. Anyway, as some reader are more sensitive than others it’s generous of you to provide two versions.

New reader and new patreon-er(?) I like both scenes. But also understand the responses. If someone doesn't want the advance it doesn't matter how attractive the other person is. As someone who has had a kiss forced, it's nauseating to be in that situation. You're art however is beautiful and I loved every panel of the story from start to finish. <3 and it is clear that they develop a relationship. Both scenes made sense to me (I don't want to be restrained against my will against the freezing snow ever lol) I am proud of her for slapping him in both versions tho lol

I can imagine that perhaps you are tired of talking about it, so forgive me for potentially digging up something that is already buried, but the kiss helps to make the story. On top of the fact that this is YOUR story, I think most readers know your genre and it's intentions. Moreover, this is fiction. This is fantasy. This is BEAUTIFUL. Such wonderful stories as this is where women like me go to escape from the real world and indulge in a different world where we do not always have to apply realistic expectations.
