CONTAINS SPOILERS - READ AT YOUR OWN RISK

I'm in a mad rush to finish up this episode but here's a final sneak preview to keep you guys occupied while waiting for the episode to be out. There's a friend's wedding I need to attend today which will take up a good few hours, so the ep should be out end of Sunday, slightly after midnight (EST). There will be loads of dialogue this ep and it's gonna be fun ;D

Anyway I'm not done colouring yet but this panel makes my heart flutter because there's another nice bit of symbolism in here that should be more apparent now with colour, so I wanted to share. Have a go at it, it's pretty straightforward, I think!

Is it the backgrounds behind them? Light and dark, yin and yang? A light shining down on him while she is in light? Or is it that he seems to revere her in a way (with their poses), because I am all for Queen Puppy. 😂

I’ll take a stab and see if I’m close but looks to me like light vs darkness. Tora is lower to the ground in all dark clothing looking slightly upwards to Poppy who is in very light coloring. Close enough he can touch and maybe be a little less dark and start to be in that light. Am I close?

I wouldnt have noticed if Lily didnt point it out. The yin and yang symbolism! He has a dark background shrouded by the yakuza while shes the light pure maiden. I really like this frame as well. A tall giant squatting in front of the short princess 😊 Have fun at the wedding Lily and I cant wait to see whats in store for the upcoming chapter!!

The light (Poppy) over Tora allows him to see the truth. As "low" as he is, he can only climb higher while in her light. It also looks like a subdued proposal.

Tora is aligned with the shadows, while Poppy is aligned w the light. Also, their outfits are exact opposites on the color wheel, even subtly, with Tora's shirt being a dusty, olive green and Poppy's shorts being a bright red. Opposites attract. The light above Tora's head likely representing just how much Poppy is "invading" into his space, i.e. life.

Green, the color of life, renewal, nature, and energy, is associated with meanings of growth, harmony, freshness, safety, fertility, and environment. While Red is the color of fire and blood, so it is associated with energy, war, danger, strength, power, determination as well as passion, desire, and love. if we go by the language of color poppy is a nice serene green and tora would be a dangerous red which could also be interpreted as yin and yang in another sense as they are opposites and represent the light and the darkness. It’s kind of interesting that they are wearing the color that represents each other if Lilydusk chose the colors green and red for their meanings. Does that mean they are both wearing the colors of things that they each lack or was this a coincidence? I guess only time will tell.
