*Edit: Forgot to include the version without the cigarette!

Inks for cover #1 <33 (Low res image for now, until MPL is officially launched.)

The completed covers will be shared on my $1 Patio tier as soon as I'm able to. For now, as a bonus, I'm posting these inked pieces as a reward on the Secret Garden tier <3 As an EXTRA bonus, I have just Poppy and Tora for the hardcore Toppy shippers 🥰 (but who am I kidding, I need this for myself 😂)

P.S. I'm not too sure about Tora's cigarette yet, and I'll probably get my editor's opinion on that! But thoughts are always welcome <3

Dork La Vie

Ah, I'm in LOOOVE!!! Can't wait for the finished product❤️😍😍

Nicolette

Also, the bottom button on Quincey’s jacket is on Poppy.

Tiffany Krug

Omg I love. ❤ you know, I hate cigarettes and i find the smell is so unattractive and I've been fighting with my husband for two and a half years to quit again...but it still looks sexy as hell, especially on Tora! 😍😁

Mikkaryne

Oooohhh. Look at that. I just noticed Poppy's back. Sexy back 😍 😂

BlackCat

Thanks for the just Poppy and Tora one 😍 I love their facial expressions, looks like they both know who exactly is in charge 😂 Also loving how Poppy‘s dress is open in the back!! Ps. I noticed Quincey‘s button as well, figured mentioning was better than not?

Emmie van Roij

I think the cigarette fits tora, but there's a whole stigma around smoking so maybe webtoon isnt too happy with it....

HazelGreene

Toras hot no matter what but I am personally not a fan of smoking so I think it would look great with out the cigarette. But that's just me.

LadyVondergeist

Oh Tora... Thank you for wearing shirts that a clearly a tad too small and tight for you 😉. With love the MPL fandom. Ps: don't worry Quincey you look just as much as a snack as Tora does! 😉😏

Noelle Hoffman

Always Toppy! Cigarette doesn’t bother me. Fits his aesthetic but WEBTOON might not like it for the cover art. Either way: love love. Can’t wait to see the story unfold!

India Wanderer

This just made me realize how much I miss Tora already... Looks gorgeous (loving the first one!)

MadCoolKid

Maybe an e- cigarette???? I'm not surprised hes smoker but it would be cool if poppy was the reason he stopped

Emily Basso

I keep coming back to look at these images and I thiiiink I actually prefer him without the cigarette. Not for health/principle reasons but aesthetically. I mean, Tora definitely looks hot when he’s smoking, but I really like the serious look on his face here and I think the cigarette is a little distracting 🤔

Janoha Novella

I'm worried about Poppy's hair. He's smoking above her the way they are close together, right?

JellieMonkeh

I would probably say get rid of the cigarette. I don't think it adds to the image, and it would probably look better without it.

AuntWacky

Smoking is just part of Tora's character. I guess it's up to whatever you and your editor decide. Either way, it's beautiful. 🥰

SOPHIA A

Muhahaha Toppy! Also scrap the cigarette doesn't add anything.

Olive S

Oh, dear, I fell like Tora and Poppy are a perfect match... can you keep just the two of them on the cover...? 😏 and about that cigar... although it sure fits him, I too think that webtoon won't aprove...aaand it sure isn't fair for him to hold his cigar like that above Poppy's head... I'm sure he would be more carefull with that....🤗 cause we all know what a great guy he is, right? 🥰

Lilydusk

Ok guys the cigarette goes! 🥳🥳🥳

Dee

I think if you're going to ditch the cigarette, you may want to slightly change the line of Tora's mouth. The frown without the cigarette makes him look mopey in my opinion

Dee

(To clarify, I'm not saying to change his mouth from a frown, that's his character. I just think that particular frown looks a bit much if it's not to hold a cigarette)

Irene A

They all get a ❤️! And I appreciate the non cigarette Tora one too!

MollzJJ

I’m so excited!! 😍😍😍

Rose Hazard

Ooooooh I luv it! You should def leave the cig I think. It’ll be a surprise if she ends up with him and not the nicer looking friend.

UghGabi

I think it's better without the cigarette. It almost looks like the ashes are getting in her hair.

Rachel Akau

Definitely without the cigarette since it's close to Poppy's head. And it looks AMAZING regardless.

The Breakdown (formerly Vicky Chang)

I think the cig makes Tora look a little more badass... but as an avid hater of cigarettes and their environmental, social, and physical health affects, I have to agree with others who say no cig.

Mishmonster

I hate smoking, but I think with the cigarette is more in line with Tora's character.

Ciara Robinson

I like it, but for some reason I keep seeing Quincy’s right arm as Tora’s so it looks like Tora’s reaching around to grab the back of Quincy’s head 🤨

ellie

OUUUU THEY ARE SOOO FIIINNEEE

Schkaka

I keep looking at the pics and couldn't really figure out what felt off. So I went back at looked at the comic. Isn't Tora's neck tat suppose to be on his left side not right?

Kat Urban

I think that the cigarette is more in line with Tora’s character! I’m so excited!!! Thank you for all that you do author!!! ❤️❤️

Harveybirdman

The cigarette just feels more like tora. Without the cigarette his facial expression looks sad for some reason.

Shelby

I think the cigarette is natural thing to have for Toras character. It just makes sense.

Penstemmon

I can’t help but think how many different ways Lilydusk, you, will break our hearts in this series. Poppy falling for the wrong guy... The guys wronging her... Tora struggling with his love... Mr Yam’s big secret... Julri coming back on the scene ever? What was that last scene in 1.0 about!!! And who knows what other intrigue? What’re you up to? And uh, didn’t one early preview of Tora show him with tattoos down to his forearms? Is he supposed to have them on or off? Anywho, I’m bracing for whatever you got up your sleeve...

Clau Perry

I like tora's look with the cig!!! Badass look 😍 if webtoon lets you with the image, go for it girl!

Ninoscerem Höllen

Poppy reminds me of Aerith (FF 7) with this hair style and I love it ❤❤❤❤ Also I'm not fond of this cigarette but I guess majority wins, anyway every cover looks amazing ! ❤

Brooke C

The way his arm is behind the other man's head is awkward. Would look better if his arm was behind (Clancey?) and his hand shows up on the shoulder furthest from Tora. I don't like cigarettes, but they fit Tora so it works. Definitely looks better with the cancer stick. I think it would be interesting if Poppy tries to get him to quit and he ends up sneaking around to smoke. Putting them out when she shows up etc. Then his friend can rib him lightly about being controlled by a female.

Brooke C

If you decide to do without the cigarette, consider slanting Tora's eyes down at Poppy.

Jane Doe

They're gorgeous!

MilkTea

I just wanna rub my nose against Toras😊
