Something caught my mind, yesss of course the little guy who helped a girl. Wish that it's Tora and Pops hahaha. Oh goshh, he really has some good heart inside. Of course! Quincey is a bomb there. And would really like to watch Pops head over heels for Quince while Tora is being jealous! So soon. Hihi.

Nice chapter! I wanted to know more about Tora and Goliath in the previous version. It's great that you give us some clues in the first ten chapters. You really did improve everything in this version. I can't wait the read the rest!

Goliath and Tora sure do look similar...cousins maybe? A lot of people were saying brothers...but I'm not so sure. Also, anyone see the parallel between Tora and Pops both judging each other by appearances? "I figured you'd be the type of person to fall for it," with the joke? Oh Tora...pot, this is kettle.

There is so much to say about this episode, but what really struck me was how amazing the pacing of the story is this time around! While reading I kept internally screaming with excitement as the characters body language signaled a big reveal: Tora’s expression and the car sounds signaling Quincey’s fabulous entrance (and the vrrr sound-car-foot-back of head-then BAM-Quincey!) then Erdene and Jacobs mob comments fading into the scene with the green haired thug. The story here really caught me, because there was just enough side info on his life to give you a break from the main storyline (the simple desire of just wanting money to get High and go see his favorite stripper) which led him to discover a box full of Someone’s old things- namely that old photo of Quincey, Goliath, Tora and their little gang, along with some audio tape of a politician. And then there is the mother being salty which led to a longer suspense of us screaming “woman just tell us who lived here we know it’s gonna be big!!” And then WHAM. Big, scared eyes and then Goliath, in all his sexy glory. There was so much suspense and so much gratification in how these events played out, and while I was left with just as many questions as answers, it makes my love of this Story grow even more 😍

When Lily posted those Webtoon banner images, I kept looking at the graffiti on the underpass where Tora had poppy pinned against the car. I wanted to believe that the graffiti held some hints about the story but couldn’t come to any conclusions, but now I’m thinking that crown on the upper right side might have been put there by Quincey and Tora’s little child gang, since they were the Ares Stree Kingz 🤨

I really enjoyed Quincey's flashy entrance. And Goliath's. 🙂 Like a few people said, I do think it's Tora in the back of that pic. Maybe with Poppy? Or another girl from his past he tried to protect and meeting Poppy reminds him of her? I had a question for you Lily. With this relaunch, you had the opportunity to revamp the story. Did you take this opportunity to drastically change direction of the storyline or you are just adding more depth and elements that would have come up at some point in the original version?

As for the little girl theory, I do think it is Poppy and I think I this pic was taken in the country. Seems like the guys are on some kind of road trip.

Honestly, I'm still cracking up at the fact that Tora's line simultaneously dropped thousands of panties around the world and Poppy really hit him with a, "k, kinda rude to yourself, but thanks". Talk about leaving a key under the mat for heartburn.

Not only the drawings are beautiful but the story of this webtoon is clever and I can't even express how impressed I am! 👏👏👏👏The plot gets deeper and I fell like I m reading a mature, inteligent book, I can't leave it off my hands. Lily, you're AMASING! And yes, Quincey and Goliath are kinda hot but Tora remains my favourite. It's not only about looks, it is also about the beautiful heart he has. Quincey is all looks but my impression is that his heart is rotten.... And Goliath is just a superficial stupid ass that enjoys the thug life... And I wasn't surprised in that picture Tora is the one who helps that girl get up, in the background... Oh, I love him so much 🤗😍

Each episode is so packed with content! I've read each episode more times than I care to admit and come away with a new tidbit of info, or another question about background every time. This is such a rich story, deep characters, and don't get me started on the amazing artwork, I have no doubt we're going to see a wide-release graphic novel or anime series of MPL in the future. Lilydusk is just that great of a storyteller and artist. Which in itself is pretty rare, usually you see great art with ok stories or fleshed out stories with someone else drawing. Lily is the entire package, the real deal. *bows before greatness*

I almost ooped and commented a spoiler on the new post about the color overlays, but I’ll post it here instead! 😅 I LOVED the atmospheric coloring of the last panel of this episode. I could really feel the fluorescent lighting of the casino, it felt like I was right there in that caustic light with Goliath, so realistic 😍😍😍

I was mesmerized by panel 3 with the card handoff. The contrast of her femininity compared to his masculinity, and the size difference of their hands was stunning. The contrast added to the fuel of how powerful a romance this is and how much I love it.

I noticed the detail, natural feel, textures, and really well done backgrounds in each seen. You have probably answered this before but how do you do it? I've been inspired by webtoons to start drawing again but I gotta say character drawing and background drawing are way different than I expected. What is your process or things you like to do to create backgrounds?

Does anyone think that maybe Tora used that line because he has seen his other “brothers” use it and it worked for them. But since he has no understanding of how to pick up women he doesn’t know any other way? Like he likes Poppy but he doesn’t know how to talk to her knowing she isn’t like the type of women that go after Yakuza. 🤣🤷‍♀️ me just over here daydreaming about MPL.

So I was rereading the series and I'm on this episode... I hit the image of Goliath in color and his eyes are the same amber/gold color as Tora's... earlier in the series you see a photo of two boys the taller one with his arm around the shorter jovial boy. The tall one is obviously Tora. I get the feeling that Tora and Goliath knew each other as kids... and are even brothers??? Is that a theory of anyone else's???

I get the impression that they were separated when they were young. I am also convinced they are brothers... Tora is way more invested in finding Goliath thannin finding the notebook.
