I love Tora's piercing gaze! **Pardon me while I puddle right here**

It's not a theory just a fact: Your artwork is beyond exceptional! I was reading this chapter and my husband came up behind me right as I got to the photo of the shoe and said "I thought you were reading Webtoons. Why are you shoe shopping for guys shoes?" And I told him it WAS a Webtoon and his jaw hit the floor. I showed him more of your artwork and you now have a new fan for life! He works in the video game industry with other artist and he says they don't hold a candle to you!

Quincey wasn't at all what I was expecting him to be. His lil snarly face caught me off guard until I realize I do the same thing to myself in the mirror when I'm trying to get in the right mindset to tackle a big job.

I was surprised by Quincey as well. I didn't think he could be this cold. But is it just a facade and he feels like he is forced into it by his father or is he just a sociopath? I can't wait to learn more about him and Tora. Does he view Tora as a friend, a brother or just a loyal dog? I said it in the webtoon comments but this reminded me greatly of certain scenes with Heath Ledger in The Dark Knight.

Quincy going after a bad boss probably. The man seems like he might deserve it.

MollzJJ

I really can’t say it enough! The time spent to expand and deepen the characters and plot is so evident. Now Quincey is a big mystery and I wonder too, is this a darker Quincey working for his dad or is this just a red herring and he’s really some altruistic vigilante seeking justice by punishing a bad man!? But at least we know he’s still totally helpless and a little clueless so he buys a car instead of taking a cab and then needs Tora to drive! 😂😂❤️ Oh gosh and Poppy with her To Do List. I hope Tora is #1. 🥰🥰

Lily, I'm curious about something. I know you've said in the past that MPL takes place in a fictional country/city. Your characters are so ethnically diverse that it got me thinking about what their accents would be like (and perhaps where they'd be from)?

Tye

I loved this episode. I feel like the spark between Tora and Poppy and how they are together is only enriched by showing what their daily lives apart are. They’re both kind of lonely in their own way. Especially true for Tora, who’s daily life is so heartbreakingly different than the glimpses of himself he shows Poppy. It’s like good baking, you have to have salt to feel the sweetness. So on top of a comment, this is also a pro tip to add salt flakes to the top of your baked goods. 🤷‍♀️

I wonder if Goliath was trying to gather info to take down the heads so he could be in top or if he had similar abuse like Tora and is seeking revenge. Poppy needs to get a copy of that photo for herself she looks amazing in it. She could cut out the cleavage. 😉 I like dark Quincy much better than old Quincy. Makes him interesting. The detail I'm your artwork is amazing. from the sun hitting Quincy's earring to Poppy's very 1990s pen (my younger self had that pen). Brava!

I’m honestly still distracted by Tora without the suit jacket on 🤤

Quincey does no onger seem a nice guy like ine the old versiion. I find that point interesting, bc of how he will treat Poppy in the future, which will surely complicate his relation with Tora....

Annie J

Reading about all the comments and theories is so great, everyone is so insightful. I can't wait to see how the plot(s) unfolds and see how much we were right or wrong. One last theory based on some comments. What if Tora, thinking that Poppy is somehow involved with Goliath, ends up betraying Balthuman and Quincey to side with Goliath?

Dehak

Tora and Goliath have the same eyes. Are they blood related?

Dehak

Yeaaaaaaaah can't wait!

NurseAmethyst

He is a beautiful man. Handsome is too tame. He is gorgeous, beautiful specimen of man 🥰😱🤔👌👌💓
