MPL Sneak Preview (Patreon)

That moment when it finally dawns on you that you're actually working on a mafia comic 🤯

I sometimes have these panels that I'm really excited about and want to share with you guys, but since I'm a few episodes ahead, I don't want to give away the eps they'll appear in, either. So I guess I'll have to keep y'all wondering when they'll pop up in the comic 😋

In all seriousness though. Posting these random sneaks previews is something I want to do, but I'm not sure how I should go about doing it yet. Maybe a private Patreon-only twitter account just for posting artwork and stuff? All suggestions are welcome. (Please don't suggest Discord though, that isn't something i'm ready for right now)

I do believe Instagram might be better because it’s artwork and Twitter feels like it’s a different type of social media. Or maybe Tumblr might be a good option.

Personally for me, keeping up with all this social media is tough and specific content like this is just easier to find in one place rather than spread out 😭 But hey, the majority rules haha

I really like the idea of it just staying here. I'm able to find them easily if I don't download them right away. Also, I don't need another social media account. 😂😂

Patreon works really well, in my opinion. I get notifications every time you post, and i can scroll back through them when I want.

I too think it should be easier staying here... But hey, I ll follow your art everywhere, so it's your choice. I don't use twitter and insta ( old hag alarm here! ⏰🙄🤣🤣) but I guess I'll do it cause I don't want to miss anything when it's about MPL 😏

There's also Pixiv, a Japan-based art sharing website (which I use plenty despite the language barrier), pixivFANBOX is basically like Patreon but I guess that would be another subscription on its own

I think Patreon is great already and you are already doing so much to add another platform. We appreciate all you do. Beautiful illustrations, imagery and storyline. We will go with whatever you decide and what feels right for you <3

Yeah, I think maybe stick to Patreon. I don’t use Twitter, I don’t know about anyone else. I’d prefer to not have to get a whole other account on a platform I would honestly only ever use to see Patreon content.

I also think it would be easier to keep it here on Patreon. I have a feeling it would get out of hand quite rapidly on other social medias. Plus, it makes me feel privileged, as a patron, to be able to get those sneak previews and discuss it with the group. And I am part of the older ones that dont use social medias much. 😊

Ok just adding on - I honestly love the process of randomly posting my progress and chatting about what I'm working on without having to worry about posting them in order here on Patreon. So if most of you guys don't mind, I'll probably do just that.

I kinda need that face on my credit card so he can look at me like that when I'm trying to spend money on something dumb... Patreon is also easiest for me to follow and access, for what it's worth. :)

I think Patreon works well. There are a couple of Artists I support on Patreon that I also follow on Instagram and Twitter. It is very difficult to keep up with everything. And they post different things on each of them. Honestly, i find it annoying.

You can always keep the Patreon or create a private Official Facebook Group. Lots of other comics have them and you can have other people you trust help you manage the page.

Personally, I like having access to the sneak peek on this forum. It engages Patreon subscribers while waiting for release of the next chapter. It's nice having all MPL related posts in one place. With that being said, it also depends on what route you are trying to take as well. For instance, what reader group you want to target or would like to pull in and possibly open it to others via another forum that those targeted users would frequent.

All I can say is please not Twitter. I've never had an account and really don't want yet another app. That being said, I also don't want to miss out on the sneak peaks. I love that you post the random comic panels here. It's something to look forward and I get even more excited for the release. It's like a teaser. 😁😍🥰
