Can I just say that this episode was everything. Like...I have indentions in my lower lip from biting cause Tora’s smiling dimple got me feeling some type of way. This episode was pure gold and I love that he’s starting to let his guard down around poppy. Not only did he full on smile but as a body guard having someone at your back is a liability. AND he crouched down cause he banged his head. I feel like if that happened on the job he would shake it off and pass it off like nothing happened. I.LOVED.THIS.EPISODE ❤️

I laughed so much reading this chapter! It was such an innocent normal awkward first date scene, it warmed my heart! Also glad to see that Alice is now in a nice restaurant and still likes to gamble. I think in the original it was also with Alice that we saw Tora really smile and enjoying himself for the first time. Or maybe I just want it to be. Also thank you Lily for making Poppy go last in the stairs. I am sure she is thanking you as well. It's nice to see her finding ways to check him out. Honestly, we all did the same at one point or abother. 😂

I appreciate the fact they are somewhat less guarded compared to the first version. Maybe it's because they are trusting each other a bit more? It seems like Tora doesn't have to be intimidating after realizing Poppy is just a normal civilian, and Poppy doesn't have to brand him as a dangerous criminal after realizing Tora's goodness through Erdene.

I love how much of an awkward duck they both are...like I really, truly thought we were going to have this “perfect” moment of Tora gazing at Poppy as she delicately sniffs at flowers...but they’re FAKE *and* he calls her on it AND then he almost immediately bangs his big handsome head in front of her. I am catching up on all the comments and I want to say that I've been enjoying the new MPL so much. Having read the original, I know what is/should happen, but the slight changes in this version keeps me on the edge of my seat. It keeps me wondering about the old elements and how/when/if we will see them again. I love how Poppy and Tora gravitate more naturally toward each other. How Poppy is more sneaky and self aware and how Tora is more emotional, even when he doesn't want show emotions. I know soon we will embark in a completely unknown territory but for now I enjoy being pleasantly surprised every week at how the original and the new versions are meshing together. I didn't comment much about this chapter but I've been smiling and sighing a lot. And getting lots of ideas for fanfics. 😊 Thank you Lily!❤
