Damn that episode was delicious. I think it is amazing that Poppy is the aggressor. Not allowing Tora an inch of his BS. You got feelings big boy let’s talk about it! So refreshing to have a female step up and want to talk about what is going on instead of letting the situation continue to be difficult. Poppy I love you girl and Tora let her freaking care for you! Very Nice chapter! I love the way Poppy talks back to Tora without fear and you can really see through her eyes that she's honest (how can you draw honesty so well?!!! It's amazing!!). I love the new plot, i love this new vibe between Tora and Poppy, it's so fresh and I love the new side characters! I can't wait to read the next chapter!

MPL SONG RECOMMENDATION Okay so I have a song recommendation... please don’t hate of you all don’t like it. Lol If y’all listen to it let me know we can discuss the lyrics or not lol Honesty (Pink Sweat$) Even though the song is of a male singer the lyrics I think could be from poppy’s point of view, (but i guess it could be from Tora’s point of view too, since they could both be scared of falling in love), the song mentions if the significant other would still choose to stay with them if they knew all the things they’ve done or if they would runaway from them ( like if poppy would either choose to stay if she found out all the things Tora has done in the past or if she would run away :/), but one thing is for sure though they definitely WANT the significant other mentioned in the song (Tora... or Vice versa).

I love that so far he's been the one taking care of her in the shadows and now I get the feeling the tables are turning now. She's seeing right through him and finding emotions he probably thought were buried and forgotten. I liked how she's not blind to what's going. She knows he has an agenda and won't just fall for him with her eyes closed. At the moment, they both are using each other and it offers them an excuse to emotional try to keep their distance while being physically close. Once again, I loved seeing Alice and I was glad to see she did not bring the bill to Poppy! Thank you again for another new favorite chapter (so far, they are all my favorite 😊).

Poppy sticking to her convictions and standing up for herself was some amazing girl-power and watching her struggle with the feels she's already catching is amazing, and I feel like so many of us are feeling it with her. I think Poppy unsettled the crap out of Tora. People admire the deadly side of him not the caring and gentle side. That side he keeps for himself and doesn’t share it. But she cherished it and encourages it. Which scares him because that is such a foreign reaction to him. I don’t think he knows how to handle it. He wants it but doesn’t know how to handle it. Bless his confused and yearning heart.

THEORY: Tora has some connection to Granny's son's death alongside Ronzo. Ronzo was probably caught into something deep due to clan stuff, and Tora got him out of it by getting in Granny's son's way. Also, Lane was probably friends or partners with Granny's son.

The one thing I love about your comic is the depth of the characters and their backstories. Oftentimes in romance there is so little dimension to the heroine’s personality and the focus is just on how a physically attractive hero ”falls in love” with a girl who only thinks about the dude’s pecs and his dark boi energy. (Which Tora has in abundance and more lol) I love how Poppy is intelligent, genuine, and strong despite her size and is unafraid to be real with Tora. The complexity of the characters make the story so much more compelling!

So question, I understand if you can’t answer but I’m going for it: is Poppy staying at granny’s cause the room looks different from the room in previous episode where she wakes up in a panic late to meet Mr Lam. I’m just hoping that he turns back around and goes back, storms into the room and they make up, then make out 😜 A girl can dream!

I honestly love how the story is going and what you‘ve done with these characters ❤️ i Love how Poppy‘s showing some real strength and determination and it’s slowly chipping at Tora‘s tough guy exterior to reveal he has a soft side as well. Idk there’s just something about a big scary dude becoming all gentle and sweet around a tiny Fluffball who’s not scared of him and will call him out on his shit that I just love 😅
