Poppy is such a multi-faceted character, I just loved her. The more Tora and Poppy develop, the more we see a softer side of him and a harder side of her. She is as strong mentally as he's strong physically and vice versa. I love her determined look. Once again, the art is amazing! ❤ I need Erdene to give me a makeover too. 😍

Honestly, I was waiting for another panel after that last one of Tora’s car following the other two. You know he’s somewhere close behind! And I love these little glimpses into Poppy’s everyday life and how all the small details come together.

I live for Poppy’s business woman look! And I love how she’s picking up Tora-isms. It’s too early to tell but I’ve read theories earlier in this discussion about her Dad having this CIA job and all and that got me thinking (again too early but yay theories): I don’t think I’ve seen her mom in the flashbacks. I sometimes wonder if her dad raised her by himself, which would account for her being super Perceptive (survival mode?). Also from the flashbacks it looked like she took up fighting. My theories are probably trash but it’s fun to speculate. 😂 also is her hometown Moonbright or Mistbright? Episode 1 had moonbright but this one had mistbright!

You know the more I sit here thinking of this episode when he says “don’t go alone” I feel like he already knows her enough by the few times he’s met her that she’s a “go getter” (go get that cat out of tree, go chase down Mr. Lam, go report creepy hot man to police.) she’s action oriented and so he knows she’s probably gonna go alone so I figure he’s hovering nearby OR another one of my trash theories is that he thinks like she does and but he’s gone a step further and he’s already made a reservation to the restaurant 😈 unless of course that was Mr. Lam exiting the restaurant. Then *crumbles up theory and throws it away*😂

Hey Lily, random ass question- does Tora have a surname? I mean, I imagine that it would be a spoiler to tell us what it is...but I'm just curious.. especially with the theory floating around that Tora isn't his birth name. 🤔

Small theory: Poppy isn’t dumb and would not just ignore Tora’s advice if he said not go alone. In one of the last frames, she’s holding up her phone like she’s taking a picture or video. Just get the feeling she’ll be sharing them with Tora so he knows what shes up to. And, you, help her out if needed

Poppylock Homes and Dr. Tora Watson on the case. I see what you did there Lily with Poppy being the one to deduce and charge into action without thinking about the dangers ahead. While Tora is her backup muscle, considers all the stakes, and cleans up after her mess. The best Sherlock Homes fanfic yet, and I’m all here for it!! LOL!! 😆🤣😆
