Talk about cliffhanger! Sheeesh. But Tora *chefs kiss* and his face when he realizes poppy might be in danger? Swoon. Also.... I'm really hoping he's calling her. Although it could be a clan guy to update what Scharch is up to? Like a buffer while he gets there?

I love this episode. New characters and plot points seem to be introduced and I'm here for the story. Love it. Also...the "gay speculation" is SO appropriate for men who would be in a male dominated, organized crime association. The conversation between other members about Tora's intentions showed his status AND gave us insight into his past.

Like, right now, I’m just speechless. I can’t even form thoughts. It was so, so good. So much narrative packed in to this episode, and there was soooooo much gratuitous Tora 🙌🏻 The artwork was gorgeous, as always. I enjoyed seeing what actually happened in the club. In the original, we only stayed with Poppy's perpsective. I was glad to see more of the clan and get a little more in dept with Goliath and the notebook. It seems there's another player we haven't seen if Goliath was not the one to leak the videos. Probably the person who beat/killed(?) him in the first chapter. If that's the case, that person might try to get that notebook as well. Was Candy the woman on Tora's arm in that picture detective Lane was looking at, a few chapters back? I will have to read it from chapter 1. I feel Lily's been placing hints everywhere and we are just starting to be able to piece some of it together. That was an amazing chapter!

Someone commented on webtoon that the plot is cancelled bc of the gym scene which made me laugh but it’s also true. I still really like his tattoo design.

So, I've been analysing his tattoos, and I think the flowers are Camellia and the other is a koi carp. Both have meaning, Pink Camellia flowers are symbols of longing for something or someone. This flower is a perfect was to express to your loved one that you miss him or her and that you can’t wait to see them. orange koi is a symbol for the mother of the family. I think something is definitely going to be brought up and relevant to Tora's mum and that will link in with Poppy. Also just regarding this episode, I think that Quincey picked up Poppy's phone, just because the look on his face, it seems that he wasn't expecting the voice he hears, my theory is that behind the scenes Quincey has come to the rescue and has ended up with Poppy's phone. Tora's rang Poppy's phone and Quincey has seen Tora's name on the phone and picked up... Hence the 'Tora?' whereas if Poppy would have picked up I don't think she would have questioned who it was...

So... what did Shing Ma said to Claude about Tora??? Something about how Vincent "trained" him? Or something Tora did? Maybe back when they were younger, about that incident Gyu was crying about in the changing room? Which I think involved Joseph.

I’m so in love with this comic and I got my best friend into it so now we spend our days drooling over Tora and discussing theories on how the story is going to go 😂 One question she has is is Tora afraid of cats? In the chapter where he see Poppy climbing the tree while he’s on the phone, he stammered when saying the word ‘cats’ and she wants to know if that has a hidden meaning behind it! And I just want to know where can I find a Tora to spend my life with 😭

This episode has actually made me... kinda... maybe like Claude? I can’t believe I’m saying that. But his comments about Mr. Lam looking like his grandpa, and how innocent he seems when he doesn’t understand the actual danger that old man is in is actually endearing.... I mean, Claude is a douche bag, but he is a far cry from whatever Sharch is. I love when an author gets me to commit to disliking someone and then pulls the rug out from underneath me like that! Gah, so good.

It made me laugh so hard that some people in the comments were asking if Tora was really gay. Seriously peeps?!? Clearly Claude was messing with Candy so she would give up on Tora. Unless he really thinks Tora’s gay, which would be hilarious. 🤣😆🤣

*Tin-foil theory time* So, I think Tora's actual role within the clan is Balthuman's personal hitman. It would explain why he'd be personally trained by him at such a young age. Balthuman would need him to be completely devoid of emotion, unafraid to get injured or to injure others, and he would definitely not want to form attachments to others. I also still stand by my theory that the flashback of him going to Alice had to do with Tora being involved in his first kill. All of this feels like it's leading up to Tora being expected to take over clan operations when Balthuman is gone. Vincent can't be blind to how soft and emotionally incapable Quincey is for the realities of clan life. I feel like he intends Quincey to be the outward face of the clan and for Tora to be the muscle/operations. It's a very decoy king scenario. Makes me also buy into a previous theory that Tora is the son of a rival clan boss.

So I keep rereading this chapter and every time something else jumps out at me,and this time it was Tora’s conversation with Gyu. I love how Tora “corrects” him, specifically telling him her name is Poppylan when Gyu refers to her as “that chick”. Names have significance and power, when you name something, or acknowledge someone’s name, you are realizing that that person has meaning to you, a relation. So Poppy has moved from being just some girl, to being a real person in Tora’s eyes, and I love that 😭😍

I keep watching that last panel... And I believe that's the look of relief on Tora's face.... So... I hope it's Poppy on the other side of the line and that she was still outside the bar.... One little thing I did notice about this episode (and it's not even a big deal but unfortunately I'm a little OCD about details) is Claude's glasses changed designers. They were first Chanel and then they became Gucci.

I was looking into the significance of gang tattoos and it says one meaning of Koi fish is a sign of perseverance and indicates that person has made it through rough times. Although it's the black koi that has this meaning (orange is better for aesthetics) it makes so much sense for him to have it. Then I looked up peony flower meaning. It represents honor, wealth, good fortune, and love [with a particular focus on love between two strangers]. How fitting 🥰 I'm gonna die that's so cool!
