I rarely laugh out loud to myself when I'm alone, but there were a few scenes in here that gave me the giggling fits 😌😆Also I just noticed that Quincey and Benjamin were in the same hand-over-forehead pose, and that one's just a coincidence 😆Have any thoughts, opinions or theories on this episode? So Quincey's date was indeed a guy. I'm totally assuming it since he looked really high when answering the door. His pirate romance is hilarious! I really love the way you’re balancing Tora and Poppy’s personalities, both when they’re together and when they’re apart. Poppy seems so real because she’s worried about failing at her job and her relationship, and Tora seems so real because he’s kind of like this silent bro who plays video games. So when they’re together, the change is just so much more obvious and sweet. It’s cosmic ❤️

Really enjoyed the homage Lily gave to her earlier work with the gasping expression of Poppy. Lily's style evolved substancially but it was so nice to see her imitate her own work 🤭 Apart from that, we don't really understand if Quincey is gay or bi, which I really love. 1. I love How Quincy calls him Booboo and Honey and Tora just knows this is how he is. Most men and their fragile masculinity would panic about being called a term of endearment by a guy and Tora is like whatever *shines big dick energy*. 2. Is Quincy writing a gay romance because I volunteer myself as tribute to be his beta tester. 3. Someone upstairs in the comments noticed that Quincy looks real high up when opening the door, so the date is either a guy or a really really tall woman and I’m here for all of that! 4. I love that Quincey writes romances!!! I think it is adorable that he has Tora listen and give his feedback. You can tell that they have done this before and that Tora indulges him or maybe gets some pointers 😂🤣. But Quince, Tora has a point babe about the hands. Callused hands can be so much sexier then smooth as long as they have a light touch. Or so I’ve read 😉. Just love this episode and showing Tora and Quincey’s dynamic a little. Tora and Quincey's relationship is giving me life 😂 I love how extra and over the top Quincey is and how he referred to Tora as "honey," I think he's such a sweet lil nugget this episode💖 I also love how we continue to see Poppy as this incredibly caring and kind person, even though she's preoccupied with her career she's constantly looking out for everyone around her (Mr. Lam and Benjamin). I think we can see how that will unfold more the more involved she gets with Tora. I am SO EXCITED for next weeks episode so we have a chance to watch the three of them interact! All of the magical cute, adorable, and hilarious moments have been comment-worshipped already, so I will skip those and just say GUYS TORA TOLD QUINCEY ABOUT THE NOTEBOOK AND THAT POPPY IS IN POSSESSION OF IT. Moreso than anything else in this chapter, this really shows the depth of their trust and friendship to me.

I’m so happy we’re almost catching up to the MPL.01, even though many things were changed or I guess told differently it’s been amazing!!! And even though I had a general idea of where things were headed since I used to read version 1 I still had moments while reading version 2 where I thought to myself where did lily even come up with this! Not gunna lie, reading everyone’s comments that Quincy is gay; I was pretty skeptical. But the implied BL story that Quincy was writing, the overly flamboyant personality, AND (I can’t believe I didn’t notice it) but he’s wearing an earring on his RIGHT EAR which is considered as an indication of homosexuality!

I red a lot of comments stating that Poppy will probably be in a love triangle between Tora and Quincey but that will be too boring and cliché. Also, I think that Poppy is way to smart and sensitive for not noticing that Quincey is gay and that Tora is way hotter than him. I think Quincey will play an important role in their relationship by supporting both of them and also helping Tora out of the Bathulman group.

My thoughts: Quincey is gay and writing a boy love romance story. Here are my clues: 1. in the sentence he reads out loud, the love interest is a stranger with big muscles 2. When he opens the door, he thought it was his date and someone taller 3. They way he talks to Tora 4. His overall aesthetic. I think these are the hints Lily is dropping.
