Y'all. THIS DAMN CHAPTER bout to fucking give me a heart attack and a half. I LOVE the new art, it's so well defined and the lighting is just perfect! Their expressions are SO palpable! You could feel the hurt in Tora's eyes when he was being judged by that man and his son. 😭😭 And Poppy, girl, you enjoy those rough, warm hands... because I'm over here crying that they aren't real! 😭😂 Seriously, I loved so much about this new version of the chapter, I can't say enough good things about it! And yes, Tora, you hold onto that girl like your life depends on it! 😍😍😍

Emotionally, what I loved so much is that though Tora was clearly going to a dark place mentally with that man talking shit about him, Poppy just jumps back into his space. She tugs at his sleeve and just treats him like a NORMAL person she can joke around with. Like...she's sexy and glowing like an angel when he sees her...but those two combined...its no wonder he's so into her. I also wonder if he's playing the same mind games with himself like she is (oh, I'm not into them...its just to get the notebook/photo)

I tease about other webtoons where everyone goes nuts over “near miss hand holds” but this was the legit deal where we all know it’s going to lead to so much more. The art was so lovely (as always) and if the last chapter has spectacular Tora expressions this one was Poppy. Her face when she got onto him about being moody. Two things struck me deeply in this episode, besides all the physical contact. 1. The fact that Tora respects consent. That’s a big deal. And 2. Lilydusk is so clever. Not only does the scene with the man & son show Tora’s hurt, but it also proves how fear is learned. If children are constantly told “people like that are dangerous and we should shun them,” they are more likely to grow and teach future generations the same behavior: generational violence. Well done, lilydusk 👏

Has the art changed in the last few episodes? I didn’t get to read MPL 1.0 so not sure if some panels were kept from 1.0 or if its the revamped version? Everyone talking about how the art on this chapter is amazing and poppy is pretty af: probably because of the EYEBROWS. Those eyebrows are fitting her hair color, putting it all black is kind of fake, in my opinion, seems exaggerated for poppy.

OK, I guess I have too much time at my disposal... But I discovered some things that make me love the characters even more... First off all, I looove Tora's neck and jaw line... Like wtf, do I have a new fetish now, or what???😳😱 Second... Why can't I keep away from looking at his crotch?? 🤷🏻‍♀️ In my mind I already make a mashed potatoes mix with the main story and the NSFW art work...
