1. Super happy I was wrong and he was at Poppy’s building. Plus Poppy thinking of Tora while reading the romance novel 😏 we see you! Secret Garden for the win 😏😏😏 2. I think it’s so sweet that she’s painting that picture for Mr. Lam. She has such a big heart and it’s so thoughtful of her to recreate the memory to change his expression so he can see the happy instead of worrying about his face in the photo. Now he won’t feel that regret when he see that memory. 3. So she doesn’t realize Quincey is the author yet 🤔 I guess Mr. Lam only showed her the author’s name then. I wonder if Tora notices her research on the author and brings it up. Maybe he’ll offer to help her out. Probably without telling her that Quincey’s the author cause he’s a sneaky little devil 😏 maybe he’ll get another dinner out of it. 4. I’m wondering if Tora dressed the way he did so no one would pay attention to him when he went to her apartment. Like he was worried about leading anyone to her. Was he going there to see her or did he call to see if she was home so he knew of it was safe for him to break in? 5. The smile on his face when she teased him was so natural and adorable. My heart hurt a little just thinking of how little he’s gotten to smile like that. That expression showed so much adoration for Poppy. That pure, sweet expression of happiness can’t be easy to put on paper, Lilydusk and I applause your talent for bringing these characters emotions to life with your artistry. I keep going back to that panel because it tugs at my heart so much. 6. Their banter is so cute! Her scolding him about climbing the wall. She even kinda lets him win which is adorable and you see that smile again. Honestly, I can’t get enough of Tora smiles. Don’t get me wrong, the cocky smirks and grins looks so great on him but those are something he uses all the time, usually for sarcasm or intimidation. These sweet genuine smiles he has when he interacts with her had to have been so rare in his life and I live for every moment Poppy gives him something to truly smile about. 7. The chemistry between them is building in such a slow and natural way. I love that they haven’t been just smashed together and boom, relationship. They are so different and they grew up is vastly different worlds. I don’t think they’d be able to make a relationship work without the foundation of friendship they’re building right now. They are learning each other and how their worlds are different. They’re protecting each other in their own ways. 8. I love how she trusts him so strongly that she just buzzed him in. For a second I think even Tora was a little shocked (possibly irritated, I can’t be sure) when she buzzed him in. 9. Is it just me or are the knuckle on his right hand extra red? When he’s holding the phone to his ear, is that just shadowing or has he been punching somebody? 🤔 10. Mr. security guard, you gonna take one look at Tora’s menacing glare and something’s gonna shrink 😏 should’ve stuck to foolin with your side chick and left Tora alone. 🤗 honey, you should just head home, he isn’t gonna be much use to you in a minute 😂 11. SWEETHEART!!!! I can’t with him. Is he doing that cause he means it or because she told him she didn’t like it back at Alice’s? 🤔 He usually calls her Bobby so I’m thinking he said it to poke fun for her scolding him. 12. Lily! This was an amazing episode! Don’t be too hard on yourself, love💕 you do an amazing job every time and I didn’t even notice the length cause of how good the story line is!!! 😘💕 Ok but back the business. I do have a couple theories. First one has to do with Q.B Noyouko. I think she’s knows who it is since she bumped into his notebook while at his place and seen his name. But I think she’s having trouble finding what to convince Quincy of joining the company. Since he’s tight lipped (I mean you have to be if your dad is the biggest gangster). In conclusion to this, I think she might ask Tora for advice on what she can do to convince Quincy to get on board 😁 in addition to the favors that Tora love so much, I also think she will ask for a ride to the airport. Maybe since she’s all flustered from her reading earlier that once she asks she might say “can I ride you?” Instead do saying can I catch a ride with you 😂🤣☠️💕 ok, ok sorry I got carried away guys hahah but another theory as to why I think Tora is there at poppy’s is: maybe he’s feeling a little down? So you know how chapter 31, Tora is walking to his car and you see these baby street mice talking about a clan war? Ok so remember by in episode 28 where Tora meets yadori, and breaks the pool stick in his face? I think that might have gotten the clan war started and maybe he just needs a little light in his life before being consumed by the darkness around him 😢 I could be very wrong, it’s just what I think. Another theory, what if instead of Tora opening a can of whoop ass on the security guard, poppy comes down and tells the security some shit about telling his wife what he’s up to and how he’s more of a hoodlum than Tora ever could be 😂 Tora would be so turned on with her alter ego “Bobby” Hahahaha! Did she cover the old painting or just cover a new canvas with a base color so the background wasn’t white? This is the only series that I actually go back and reread/view 3-4 times to catch those subtle details that add so much more meaning to the story. Hi Everyone! I’m fairly new to Patreon, but I’m enjoying this community so much. I am obsessed with MPL and will skip gushing because if I start I might not stop 🤷‍♀️ (the art, the story, and the characters are awesome). There is so much happening “off camera”; I’ve already picked up that Lily is the queen of the slow/perfectly timed reveal, but can someone help clarify the timeline for me. When Poppy and Tore cross paths in Moonbright I assumed this was a Tuesday(possible Monday), the next meeting at Chevy’s and their subsequent date would be Wednesday. Then Tora waits 2 days to tell Poppy Mr.Lam’s location- bringing us to Friday. It is confirmed Poppy has a Saturday work meeting and lunch with Mr.lam. Mr.Lam says he will be leaving that day, but will return soon. So I feel like the latest Poppy rooftop scene is Saturday afternoon or Sunday... buuut she say it has been a few days since her meeting and Mr.Lam’s plane will be leaving soon?? Does this mean it has been a full week and then some?
