Ok, I’m feeling so many emotions now that is almost 1am and I can’t sleep, so I’ve decided not to wait to write about this episode. It was so sweet, sexy, delicious… everything. The sexual tension is SO HIGHT, they can’t deal with it whithout touching each other anymore, the way they look each other, as they want to devour… wow! I loved that Millenial Pink has nailed the nail polish thing, and Poppy has proved one more time that she isn’t as defenseless as she looks. Fierce hamster! Gyu is a wise man, I love him so much: “For two people as different as night and day… they sure look pretty cute together.” Awww! That’s it! Lily, this shoes scene, OMG, the way Tora holds her foot… I can imagine how hot Poppy fells with him looking at her like that… pure desire and adoration! I think is so nice that Poppy has one side she doesn’t show easily, even to Erdene, and Tora gets to see it mostly. She’s said that she doesn’t want a romance right now, and want to be alone, but she acts the opposite with Tora. All the initiative today was hers. I thought when she said that was enough of staying around the bar, she would want to be with the group, but no, this night is totally about her and Tora, as I was talking with Millenial Pink, is like the fierce woman that she’s becoming earns to be with her man. She walked holding him, as the most natural thing, she’s found a totally empty spot just to them, they talked so fluidly as they’ve known each other for centuries… I love all the mythology you’re developing, this whole universe of Tora being descendent of Ulaan and Yuwa. I’m thinking that the “ISHRIKHARA” legend that Tora claims is a marketing thing of the club, is deeper than that. First: “Protector of the ones who’ve slipped beneath the cracks”… and then that Oath “Till is time to reclaim our throne”. It’s just a feeling, but to me, since episode 51 in Poppy’s “Googgle” search, it looks like Balthuman family was involved in the royal family overthrown. Is so interesting the fact that the descendent of the ancient kings was enticed exactly by the enemy’s clan leader. Maybe this oath has to do with Tora restoring his clan, reborning as the king he really is by symbolically overthrowing the Balthuman Clan and ending their history of crime and death. Another thing that’s interesting, is how this subjects about Tora’s lineage (they don’t know, but all this legends and Mythology talks) emerges when Tora is with her, just like she reminds him of his true essence… just like a “soulmate” thing, your soulmate revels what you are, what you has come to do in this world… your real path. It was cute to see Erdene with Damien, all sweet and cuddles… I didn’t expect AT ALL that Poppy would make a pass in Tora, because he’s so desperately in love with her, we can feel (I can feel all the way to here Brazil pff pff hehehe), and listening all his musings about loosing control, I was on the verge of him acting on it, he did, “I think you’d look nicer on me.” She was bold (bravo!!!) “what about under you?” OMG!!! JUST KISS! (XD) Thanks Lily, it was amazing!!! You’re incredibly!

Such an amazing episode. I started looking into Lilly dusk work over a year ago... maybe 2? because the art was on a different tier than everything else on webtoon and it suprised me. I thought that back when the art wasn't even fully colored etc in the first version. I stayed because of the emotional depth and humour. I find these characters extremely relatable and real. Oh, I am totally here for alllll (and I mean ALLLLLLL) of Tora as a Dark Prince references. Gather ‘round, children - it’s Fairy Tale Time! 😈 👑 😈 👑 😈 👑 We start our modern fairy tale of an episode with Tora giving Poppy his hand in a nice role reversal of the princess taking the prince’s hand instead of the other way around - which shows the amount of trust between them - while also showing Poppy taking some control in the relationship. That's our girl! Then, Tora as the Dark Prince Charming kneels down at Poppy’s feet - in full view of his crew - to place the stiletto slipper back on her dainty foot. He has literally fallen at her feet and doesn’t seem to care who notices. The dark polish on his beautiful hand just emphasizes the whole Dark Prince symbolism here. Note that I’m not saying Prince of Darkness (hello, Satan), because that’s not what he is. Tora is pure of heart like most fairy tale princes, but he’s cloaked in the darkness of the clan and his world. Poppy is a princess of light, but she may harbor a bit of darkness within her (that we’ve not really seen yet), but, again, this is how they balance one another out and why they are pulled so strongly towards one another. Darkness and Light. Moving on, Tora is the one who leads Poppy through the winding corridors of the cave (more metaphoric yumminess) to stand in front of the fallen/guardian angel who protects those who’ve “slipped between the cracks.” Hello, paging Tora? Bullseye.🎯🎯🎯 I love love love the entire symbolism of the Oath of the Fallen. To me, this is pure lore like an ancient saga or a quest where a defeated royal house awaits the long prophesied day when their lost prince will come to reclaim their family name. Or something...whatever it is I’m swallowing it whole...as is Poppy, while Tora remains the skeptical-lost-prince-who-hasn’t-the-foggiest-idea-who-he-really-is. YET. AND YET. TORA REFERS TO HIMSELF AS A FALLEN ANGEL. I dropped my phone. Tora, while sitting underneath a galaxy and between a guardian and the sea (okay, a fish tank, but still) refers to himself as a fallen angel while the sole source of light in his life offers a new world to him on a plate. Poppy’s accidentally-on-purpose suggestion is a door opening for Tora. Our Dark Prince is about to be rescued from the darkness by a princess. She’s going to do the rescuing. Poppy will slay the dragons for Tora, and I am so here for it. 👸💖🤴

Now, I’d like to believe that one of the meanings in this case could be, that the fallen angels will break free out of the trap that they are in and start living their own life’s....I think I’m gonna put that song on my MPL playlist too 🤪 And last but not least. Poppy gets closer to Tora 😱😱🤯🤯 She just can’t get her hands off of him anymore!!! A self sacrificing creature that regenerates and rebirths itself into a glorious thing of beauty after it’s been in its own combustion. “Glory be to pain. Glory be to shame. Reclaim our throne.” Those phrases stuck to me. I see this in tora. He has endured so much pain as being purely a tool for Vince’s bidding- ridding him of his childhood, and abused him relentlessly. I have said this before where I believe tora is a wonderful friend- especially to Quincy. I don’t think tora would ever want any of his abuse transfer to the closest person that is a brother to him so I believe tora takes all the abuse and punishment when Vince wanted to take it out on someone in his past. That’s where his self sacrifice comes from…and this this oath of the fallen, I believe a “fallen angel/person” has to go through pain and suffering to come out and rise to his glory he so deserves. Do so comparing the words ishrikhara and istikhara- maybe there’s a connection to where tora is seeking guidance for goodness… (it’s poppy- she’s the key) Not drinking- not surprised, he needs to have self control. Especially for his job. He also has to care for The others and look after them. (Again self sacrifice) WHAT ABOUT UNDER YOU? SCREAMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!! POPPY!!!!!!! Yes yes yes!!!!!! One of my favorite uwu moment is when Tora is casually telling Poppy about the fall of drug peddlers like he’s a walking newspaper 😂 The fact that Tora is freely talking to her about the “behind the scenes” mafia work speaks volumes to how their relationship has grown and how he knows/foreshadows that he can talk to her normally about this stuff and she won’t reject him for it. And her reaction omg “Don’t tell me mafia stuff I’ll get in trouble” 🤣 That’s my favorite line in this episode so far!!Aww these jellybeans are so adorable my heart can’t take it 😍🥰

Ok...now that I've had time to cool down some I can better process the most significant moment for me. I have not been able to get the crouching tiger out of my mind. First of all, lets back up. The equivalent of the Incredible Hulk is in public letting Stuart freakin Little paint his fingernails. That's the scene ok? Women have a hard enough time getting their men to let them put face masks on them in private (FOR THEIR OWN FREAKING GOOD! But that's not why we're here) But he let her do this overtly societally feminine thing in public. BDE!!! And it serves no purpose at all. He just wanted a reason to hold her hand and stare at her while she's distracted. BUT THEN he crouched down before her and she got to take an unguarded look at him and those freaking eyelashes. (Which I think are her weakness) UGH! Lady Boner. When that big ole masculine hand with painted finger nails came up and took hold of her foot? Pure electricity. He slipped her shoe back on like she's freaking Cinderella. It was a fairy tale moment but more importantly it gave me the overwhelming feeling of respect and support. There's a kind of humility that comes with touching someone's feet that way. The posture itself is submissive in nature. The person is quite literally above you. I think it speaks to the respect he has for her. We are in his domain. He is surrounded by underlinings. He's arguably the most powerful person in the whole place and he kneels down to help her. Then the cradling of her little foot in his big hand, to me, felt like a promise of support. The foundation you stand on is your security. We've seen him intercepting threats all night. It just felt like a communication of safety. But not just physical safety but the safety to be vulnerable. Like an invitation to openness. That's what that image conjured for me and I was like "damn. I want that. "

I seriously loved the panel where Poppy is peeking out from behind that mountain of a man when he tells her to look out at Erdene and Damien!!!
