Awww! This episode was cute and heartwarming. I’m really excited for next episode. Poppy is so cute and I love our stoic soft boi. I hope Tora is ok though it looks like he was laughing! There was a comfort to this episode. I know that I may be reaching with the symbolism here but Poppy leaving the light behind with her helmet on to get closer to Tora just makes me think that she’s already prepared to join his world. In any case I loved the episode. It felt easy between them. I hope she makes him more rice balls and he sleeps on the floor in her room (only because that’s how he likes to sleep)

My heart shattered a little when Poppy pointed out that she didn't care whether Tora used his slang, I saw that blush 🥺 Also the fact that poppy was feeling insecure about Tora and how he knew where she was, remembering that when she'd ask Julri questions she was met with rebuttal. Tora straight up answers the question, albeit with half truth. Although Tora is aware that she's smarter than she lets on, with that lil hamster wheel brain of hers, I genuinely think it was an innocent question from Poppy just wanting to know how Tora found her 💜 I think Tora should ditch the car and ride on the back of the scooter with poppy 😂

I’ve got about as much mental gas right now as Poppy’s scooter l pre-episode drop… but fuck if I’ll miss an update. And this one was perfect 😭❤️ the way they communicate and understand each other makes me so happy I feel all warm and fuzzy inside. They’re so in tune now- both so emotionally intelligent - that they have the ability to guess at the other’s actions (Tora realizing her scooter was the key to finding Poppy) or their thoughts (Poppy’s noticing his speech difference and correctly guessing -AND OWNIG UP TO- her part in his change), and each of them reassuring the other with simple, honest words. They’re still respecting each other’s boundaries (which is REALLY GODDAMN IMPORTANT) while managing to push them just a little (sleepover time 😈 lord help the number of fanfics that will be born from this plot point…😂) and the way they both have the same morals (leaving money for poor Darleen’s lantern) after having such wildly different upbringings HAS ME READY TO SCREAM. They’re made for each other. Doesn’t matter who you were or what life you’ve led before. When you find someone who’s moral system and mindset meshes with yours so perfectly, keep them. They’re made for you 🙌❤️

I’m a little worried about Julri now. Not for him but of him. He saw Tora, experienced first hand what Tora is capable of and still had the complete lack of self-preservation needed to mess with Tora’s car. Either he’s a complete idiot, not recognizing the danger Tora is to him if he keeps bothering Poppy or he’s got a death wish and he noticed the danger but doesn’t care, he’ll do what he wants anyway. If he’s willing to get revenge (however small and cowardly messing with the car was rather than facing Tora like a real man) on someone like Tora after that warning shot of a slap, what danger does he pose to Poppy? Him having the balls to do this gives me the impression that he doesn’t see Tora as a threat or he wouldn’t have risked a further beat down (Poppy could easily tell Tora where he lives) and because of that I’m nervous that he’ll come at Poppy again, possibly even try to take his humiliation over the ego blow out on her.

AND, then to have HER reassure him that he can be real with her, all the time, just added another layer of chest-squeezing wholesomeness to this chapter. I cannot WAIT to read more of them both slowly bringing each others' barriers down. 😊❤🔥😍❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥 You spoil us, Lily!!! 🤗

I love how quickly they settle in with each other, putting the other at ease (as much as one can with the sheer amount of sexual tension between them *at * all * times*). Her thought bubble of "he *really* doesn't like to elaborate" cracked me up! But despite a little awkwardness, you can feel them both start to come down from the adrenaline high from the confrontation last week. Meanwhile, Tora's trying to satisfy her hamster curiosity, while keeping his promise never to lie to her (loved the "half truth unlocked"), and after dropping his sleuthing skills about how he found her, the anime glasses push killed me. So adorable! Have we figured out yet if the glasses are legit, or no Rx and just for show? I'm loving professor/ librarian Tora regardless. I can't wait for Granny to applaud Poppy's arm candy upgrade 😜 I thought at first Tora had placed something on the rental car, but then it sounded like Julri, being the trash baby he is, banged up the car a bit before running on home? Can't have been too much damage, but possibly enough for Tora to need to leave the car at Darleen's for some quick repairs? You know she'll take care of him real quick 😉 but I think he's laughing because either he realizes he's going to need to hitch a ride on Poppy's scooter with her, or he's laughing at Julri's attempt at "getting back at Tora" for the slap heard round the world! I'm dying see them at Poppy's Moonbright home! I was hoping for "there's only one bed" but we know Tora doesn't sleep in beds anyway. I don’t actually think Julri did anything to the car. One, he seems like a spineless bitch, so I don’t think he’d mess with Tora’s car after that beautiful backhand. I almost woke up the house with my laughter when I seen her last night pull up with the safety shorts (I wait till everyone is asleep so I get no interruptions!) I'm like girl rock em'! There were several moments where It took my my breath away. When we get the view of Poppy when Tora first walked up. Her tears got me so much! Then his little blushes he looked so young and innocent. Amazing work! I gotta a feeling whatever that happened to the car will just be a mild inconvenience such as air out or slashed tire. I actually binge read this full webtoon to catch up in a night and I've been telling my partner about it as I love it! Usually the thing I've found with these kinda stories is the mafia guy always always tries to play this "bad guy" character and is usually a d*ck but I love how poppy and Tora relationship is playing out Every chapter entices me and I can't wait to see what more comes from them! And the fact that he tried to dress and act differently cause of poppy mocking him is just the cutest even cuter poppy realising it! Keep it up lily honestly you're doing such an amazing job 😊

I feel like we’ve been super blessed going straight into this episode with Tora’s intense gaze watching Poppy at the gas station. The art work alone was incredible. But this episode was really giving off waves of lightness and ease. A welcome respite from the intensity of the last few. I love the expression on her face as she asked him how he found her. And found it very telling that he turned away as he answered her. We know he doesn’t lie, but half truths...and then she thinks about maybe his mafia life is what stops him from going into detail. When really the less he says the less he has to tell half truths. But the fact she’s acknowledging his life in the mafia at all, trying to see things from his perspective has me doing such a happy dance! She’s not skirting from those thoughts and I’m so pleased about that! My heart went ba-dump so hard when she thought about wanting to know more about his life!! She’s building that trust and friendship with him, reaching out for connections, and I’m just buzzing about all of that! Gah, so frustration that the little fucker Julri’s past manipulation of Poppy has had her second guessing herself with Tora. And I was riveted to his face as he watched her. He’s very perceptive, I’m sure he’s read her expression and is reaching that hand of trust right back, giving her an answer she’s within her rights to ask for, even if it was a half truth. It’s a pretty clever tale and absolutely believable! From Poppy’s perspective that’s fucking clever. But I secretly - or not so secretly - hope that at some point she does find out the truth. That he did essentially just drive around looking for her. But I sense some hesitation with Tora during this whole scene. And I couldn’t put my finger on what it was, until...she apologised for teasing him about the way he spoke. As soon as that was cleared it was like a weight was lifted! The way he spoke up until then felt deliberate and very unlike him, aside from the ya’s etc missing. Such is power of this comic, it really evokes exactly what the character is feeling! But I’ll come back to that part in a second. Now I’m fascinated that he was surprised that she didn’t probe more. The Facebook groups are amazing for seeing so many different theories and perspectives of the episode. And one person pointed out how she worried she was pushing for information and he that she wasn’t pushing more. It shows they still have a ways to go to be completely comfortable with each other, so much left to learn about one another, but considering the short time they have known each other and I am floating with the easiness between them here! Why am I absolutely HOWLING at him asking her to not point the nozzle at him like that? It was 2am the first time I read this and I had to bury my head in my pillow so I didn’t wake my husband from shaking with how hard that made me laugh! Anyone else find that as funny as me? Moving on, and I have just stared at the way Poppy has laid a hand on his arm for so long, willing Tora to take his out of his pocket and hold her hand, my eyes are crossing. That touch was so beautiful, so profound and I’m still just staring at it while I write this, fascinated by any and all touches between them. The look of deer in the headlights he was giving her when she said sorry, that fucking blush...Tora you’re killing me!! And Poppy’s blush too! How often has he been ogled by people in fear and lust. And here’s this sweet little hamster looking him in the eye, apologising and telling him she wants him how he comes around her. Giving him validation that honestly could’ve made me cry! These two are going to cripple me. Oh em gee, Pops...did I just see the only hesitation in you offering a place to stay for Tora, being that the house is a bit run down? Did I see ZERO negative reaction to him saying he was sticking around? Not asserting that independent gal mood and accepting that you want him to stay? Because I am GRINNING at that development! She didn’t fight him, she just took it as it was and I’m pumped!!! Ugh, that whole scene was amazing! Her blush, his quip about his apartment, the look on his face!! Perfection. I’ve retreated back to the hyper fan girl I am, the giddiness is unreal. And another touch!! I feel like he’s been desperate to touch her in some way. The focus on that grab, ugh, I’m losing it again. Shit, sorry! What did Tora see that made him go check the car without her? Side note - I’m so happy he’s slipped back into his slang again. But I’m curious, is the car really hired or is it ‘borrowed’ again like Aniki’s? I ask, because why the emphasis on the number plate staying in place? Questions...*places tin foil hat on tighter* Another thing pointed on the Facebook posts (I’m sorry I can’t tag the actual person, I lost it in the jumble of my Facebook refreshing) but they pointed out the back tire seeming to be off the ground slightly, so maybe one of the tires was fucked with? I mean, again, the AUDACITY of that little fucker tampering with the car! I thought that bitch slap of the century was going to be enough to get him out of Poppy’s life for good. But having read Larosamorada saying in her analysis previously (PLEASE read them and have them transport you to a whole other realm of magic to go with this comic!) that he’d be back, I have a baaaad feeling. Eep! Ok, so not only did Poppy NOT want to call Tora out on destroying property, but she was going to pay for what he did herself to not have to make him uncomfortable. I mean...that’s both amazing that she realised that in the moment he needed some kind of release, and a smidge, how long will you deny the bigger picture? I’m here for both! Because they have to learn and grow together and separately and we’re only just setting out on this journey. But it came as no surprise he already left money for it. We’ve seen that with Aniki’s car before. But I’m glad she got to see he paid for his mistakes like that. Poppy wearing safety shorts, looking so non-graceful on that scooter...I can’t!! That’s hilarious, and so, so, Poppy!! Haha! Yes Tora, why is it so funny? Is it because you’re going to be getting a lift to her place on the back of that tiny scooter? Who’s driving? 😏 I’ll take this mini cliffhanger Ms Lily because it left such a warm fussy feeling seeing him lose his shit with laughter over that little fuck face! The whole episode was fantastic, and as always, left me wanting more! Bring on the house sharing for the night. I’m ready! *Edit to add* One last thing...that little shove of the glasses up his nose was freaking adorable!! And he calls his car, Red? Stop my heart, I can’t take his cuteness!!

That bitch slap was everything for me. The way Tora tried to hold back and not kill him on the a lot. He is very thoughtful of Poppy. And I love how they say so much even when don't say everything. How concern they are about each other. And this Tora outfit is driving me insane. He looks so Ugh! And proper, sexy sleek, perfect. But. I love how Poppy is so down-to-earth, relax, simple and complex at the same time. And also how Tora appreciates her simplicity. Like is so perfect. They complement each other so good. Hey y'all! Just gonna dump a few thoughts/theories here: 1) I think this is gonna be one of those episodes that may seem like not much is going on now but when we look back on it later, we'll realize that a dozen threads started here 🤯 2) My theories on how Tora knew where Poppy was: A) He's just smart -- very possible; B) He's tracking her somehow -- unlikely because he would have found her earlier; C) he has thuglets in the area that were looking around and tipped him off. --also unlikely because he came in a hurry to Moonbright. Unless his thuglets are very quick to respond, which is possible; D) He's tight with Darleen who tipped him off -- likely? 😉😎 3) Tora only has tells around Poppy? 😏 I dunno if anyone else has noticed but Tora usually has a steel poker face. Now he's avoiding eye contact, got a sweat tear and is shoving his glasses on his nose after telling poppy a half truth. Poppy has gotten under his thick, thick skin !!!! I love it 😍 4) That noozle part - @selinapedia pointed out that Tora might have thought the noozle looked like a gun. Maybe this moment contrasts how violence is at the top of Tora's mind but not such Poppy's. Curious 🤔🤔🤔 it's also a reminder to us that Poppy is in danger and no matter how cute and gober they are, someone is after our queen 🥺 5) Safety shorts. Am I the only weird-o that has almost always worn safety shorts under flowy dresses? Wind. Its ALWAYS windy when my safety shorts are the wash. And you never know when you're gonna need to straddle a scooter! Poppy, the practical woman that she is ❤🙏 The shorts are not so handy when you're trying to straddle someONE but hey there are always ways around that. 😏 (my ADHD brain is all over the place this morning....) 6) SO CuTe ❤❤❤❤❤ - no much to elaborate for this one 😅 7) Moldy guest room 😂 - this made me laugh because its a call back to the episode in Poppy's apartment when she says she knows "the mold life". And there's dramatic irony too: poppy, if only you knew the Tora has slept in far worse places (I.e. caged gutters or some horrible dungeon 🥺🥺🥺). Being in a moldy house near you is probably one of the best places rn. 8) Poppy and her selfless wallet - did I read that panel right? She doesnt have to "pay for lodging"? Is that because she would have paid a hotel instead of sleeping in her home? Or was she going to pay for Tora to go somewhere if he didnt want to stay with the mold? 🤔🤔🤔 not sure what to make of this. Maybe I've missed something... but I wouldn't be surprised if she would have spent her last dollars to make someone else feel comfortable. Lady, you are too kind sometimes 😭 9) The car - *straightens tin foil hat* my theory is that whoever is after Poppy did something to the car. Whatever is wrong with the car seems to be subtle because we dont see anything visibly wrong. And it's someone that Tora seems to know by the way he spoke.... or maybe it's someone playing a joke on him 😳.... 🤔🤔🤔 Thank you as always for the lovely episode!!! Looking forward to next week 😍

I have to say, the slow burn of this relationship is intensely gratifying. I love how they're actually becoming close, and caring about each other as a person and not just "meat", although obviously that's a big part of it. There are layers, and complications, and tension, and hope, and playfulness. This is one of my favorite stories!

NO ONE needs to see that much of me, EVER. and I wear my helmet ALWAYS, the sound of the wind is way to noisy. as for the car, personally, I think Julri WOULD have messed with it somehow. he seems the type to do something like that to get back for embarrassing him. especially since Poppy has moved on and up. she has a man now interested in her instead of a spoiled boy-child. and the boy-child doesn't like losing, even when HE tossed his "toy" away. I am truly enjoying the creation of their relationship. they're laying a foundation that will last. now is her family in the witness protection or was a parent in the mafia and hiding out? why did her granny use her maiden name instead of her married name? curious and curiouser...
